Chapter 38- Secrets

Kensi's POV

"Nell! Wait up!" I groaned as I ran through the lobby, chasing Nell. As we stepped outside, she finally stopped and pulled me off to the side.

"Why didn't you tell me you and Deeks were together?" She squealed loudly.

"Quiet, Sam and Callen were going to come see Deeks after the interrogation, if they hear you say that Deeks won't make it out of the hospital for a long time."

"Oh don't worry about them. Red team was in the area and had some free time, so they deceided to drop in. When I left, Callen didn't look like he was going anywhere." Nell winked.

"Him and Paris are good together, it's just too bad they never see each other."

"Okay, stop trying to change the subject! When did you guys start going out?"

"Um, I don't know we didn't really label an actual date. I think when we went undercover as a married couple the second time was the start of it all." I shrugged.

Nell's mouth dropped open. "You have been with Deeks for what, a YEAR? Over a year? How have you not told anyone?" 

"For as much as Deeks talks, I'm surprised he hasn't told anyone." I laughed. 

"This is insane. I knew you two had feelings for each other, I mean Eric said you wrote about Deeks like he was your high school crush in your diary, and the way Deeks looks at you says it all. And another thing-"

"Woah, woah, Eric read my diary?!" 

"Whoops... I wasn't supposed to tell you that. Please don't shoot him?" She pleaded. 

"No promises." I sighed angrily.

"Kensi, who else knows about you and Deeks?" Nell asked, desperatly trying to take my mind off of ways to get back at Eric.

"Just you. You have to promise me you won't tell anyone, though." 

"Why can't you just tell everyone?"

"Nell, just promise me, it't complicated."

"Fine, I promise. Can I at least tell Eric?"

"Nell please..."

"Fine, I won't tell Eric either."

"Speaking of Eric, are you two a thing?" 

"Oh, no. We are just partners." 

"I used to say that..." I grinned at her. 

"Hey Kens, Nell!" We turned around to see Callen and Sam walking up the sidewalk.

"Hey, how's Paris?" I raised my eyebrows at Callen."

"Good, how's Deeks?" Callen shot back, staring me down. 

"Recovering."

"Well then, lets go see him if you two are done." Sam said, going through the automatic doors.

"Hey Kens, Nate told me to tell you that you have to go back to OSP and finish your therapy session." Callen informed me before I could escape back into the hospital.

"Now?" I whined.

"Now."

I groaned, and trudged to my car.

Deeks' POV

I was surprised when Callen and Sam walked into my room without Kensi. They stood on either side of the bed, and I got the feeling they weren't here to check on my well being.
