(Skip car ride)
Lucy's pov
We pull up to Nona's house, her and papa are waiting. Uncle Tom stops the car, Nathan and I bail out. We run up the porch steps, into their arms.
Uncle Nathan and I squeal "Nona ! Papa !"
They answer excitedly "Nathan !
Lucy !"
We hug for a minute, then switch. I go hug papa, uncle Nathan hugs Nona. Then daddy and my other uncles walk up.
Daddy says "hey mum."
He gives Nona, his mama, a hug.
Daddy continues "hey dad."
He gives papa, his daddy, a hug.
Once that's over, my other uncles hug Nona and papa.
Nona says "well, how bout we get the car unpacked, then go inside ? I've got lunch in the fridge, it just needs to be heated."
Daddy, papa, and my uncles go get our stuff from the car. I go inside to help Nona with lunch.
