Two hours later, siva's pov

What a rush ! I just got off my jet skis, what a mega rush ! I decide that it's past time for me to catch a snooze. I've only been asleep for about an hour, when I hear a scream. It's Nathan. I get up and run to him.

I ask quickly and calmly "what's wrong buddy ?"

He exclaims "bubba you gotta help ! Lucy jumped ! I told her to jump in a lake, I didn't think she'd do it ! I didn't mean literally ! Help bubba !"

I glance down at the lake, Lucy's bobbing in the water. She's not fighting it, she's actually doing pretty darn good. I had no idea my niece could swim. Oh dear lord, please no ! I hear the engine before we see the motorboat. There's a bunch of high school boys on it, they're not paying any attention. I pull my shirt over my head, shed my shoes, watch, and sunglasses, then execute a perfect pencil dive. Yes, you need not ask. I'm not crazy, it's a type of dive, and I just did it. I'm not crazy, folks. I swim under the water to babylove, then I wrap my arms around her, pinning her against my body. I dive down with babylove, she's not too pleased with me. A few seconds later, we pop off the bottom of the lake, back to the surface. No, lake Isabelle isn't very deep. The water is crystal clear, also. There's no reason for those guys to have almost hit us. Not cool, at all. I release babylove, noticing that the guys in the motorboat left. We swim back to the boat, only to discover it's left. Nathan must've not told our captain that we'd fallen overboard. Why doesn't that surprise me in the slightest ? That really does sound like my baby brother, definitely. When he's mad at someone, he doesn't think. I'm still debating on wether I should give him swats. I don't know, should I ? I decide not to, because I figure that babylove said something to start it. Ya, her and Nathan have been fighting, the good lord only knows why. It's amusing, actually. She says something, Nathan comes back with something else, worse. It's gotten both of their bottoms swats. Anyway, back to the occurring situation. I decide that babylove's swam far enough, so I put her on my back. She makes it easy by not fighting me. Smart girl. Our boat's gotten far enough away that I can't see it, anymore. I decide to make for the marina, instead. It's a little over a mile swim. I think we'll make it, though. Lake Isabelle isn't deep, but it goes for miles. I strike out for the marina. We're about ten minutes into the swim when babylove says "bubba me can swim. Me fine !"

I decide to let her, no point in arguing.
We make it back to the marina about twenty minutes later. Lo and behold, the guys are waiting for us. We get back on the boat, Nathan refuses to meet my gaze. I give him a glare, but he's off the hook. Walking over to the seats I sit down, cuddling babylove. She starts crying into my shoulder.

I ask "babylove, why you crying ?"

She replies "cos me scared, bubba."

I bet I know why, also.

I quiz "babylove you want me to sing to you ?"

She tells me "yes please. Amazing love ?"

I nod and start singing "I'm forgiven because you were forsaken. I'm accepted, you were condemned, I'm alive and well, your spirit dwells within me because you died and rose again. Babylove pleads cutely "nother one pwease ?"

I agree "sure babylove. Which one ?"

She states cutely "me no know, bubba."

I ask "you know this one ?"

I start "light of the world you stepped down into darkness, opened my eyes, let me see. Beauty that made this heart adore you, hope of a life spent with you. Here I am to worship, here I am to bow down. Here I am to say that you're my god."

I look at babylove shocked. I had no idea she can sing. I decide not to tell anybody because if she wants them to know, she'll tell them.
