16. Yours and your mates habits

Over the next month Yixing and Yifan had gotten into a habit. In an attempt to get to know each other they deemed breakfast 'bonding time' the two of them had somehow grown accustomed to eating breakfast while buried in a mountain of blankets. Spring was two weeks in but it was still cold out.

Yifan often found himself staring at Yixing while the omega was in a large jumper, his head holding the blankets up while he munches on toast made with Kyungsoos home made bread.

Yixing enjoyed knowing that this was the time of day where he had his alpha all to himself. Even though he knew Yifan would spend time alone with him if he asked. Plus, It was always nice seeing Yifan without a shirt on while they hid in their blanket mountain.

It soon came time for another city trip. Tao naturally had to go since he used to stay in cities often as a lone wolf. Suho couldn't come because of his ever present bump on his stomach. Jongdae and Minseok decided they wanted to tag along, mainly because the omega wanted to show the beta all the yummy food he had last time. When Minseoks heat had passed Jongdae had apologized to everyone about his behavior and explained his situation. Because he has a 'hidden alpha' and Minseok has such a strong scent, the omegas heat caused the alpha in him to surface constantly. Minseok would be lying if he said he hadn't enjoyed protective dominating alpha Jongdae, but he loves beta Jongdae more.

The pack waved goodbye to the three who where heading off to the city, Tao had kissed his mate three times before leaving. Yixing called out to Minseok to have fun and Yifan told Tao he'd meet them again to help bring things back.

"Yifan." Yixing almost whispered as he stood by his alphas side. Their breakfast date cancelled due to the city trip participants leaving.

"What's up?" The alpha looked down at Yixing curiously. Was he upset about their breakfast being canceled?

"Can we go for a walk? I'd like to see how the field's going." Yixing knew full well that the flower feild would have no flowers and a thin layer of melting ice on top. It did occasionally snow in winter where they were but not three feet deep. The snowy part of the season was finished and layers of snow were replaced by slippery ice as the weather warmed.

"Sure, if that's what you want." Yifan smiled making the omega smile back.

The pair headed out not long after the city group left. Yifan led the way pulling branches out of the way so that Yixing didn't get hit. "Yifan?" The omega said quietly as he stepped over a log.

"Yes?" The alpha liked it when Yixing called his name.

"When spring kicks in more, can we go hunting together?" Yixing asked.

"Hunting?" Yifan stopped walking and faced the brunette. "Are you sure?"

"I know it's not something omegas usually do, but I think it would be fun. If you don't mind that is." Yixing looked up at Yifan shyly before taking a step. His foot managed to exactly step on a bit of slippery ice causing the omega to slip and fall backwards.

Yifan immediately reached out and grabbed Yixings wrist pulling the other wolf to his chest and holding tightly. Yixing could feel his cheeks reddening.

"Of course." Yifans breath was quiet and hot on Yixings ear and the omega couldn't feel any safer in his alphas embrace. "We can go hunting." Yifan pulled away from Yixing with a smile that was returned gratefully.

"Thank You."

Just as Yixing thought, the flower feild was just a slippery, muddy mess and Yifan had to pull him out of the mud once or twice when he'd gotten stuck. The two of them decided they preferred staying at camp either in front of the fire or in bed. So they decided to return and sit in front of the fire.
