29. 8th and 9th puppy: Will you lose your mate?

Yixing was a small wolf, so it was hard to believe his stomach could possibly grow to be as big as it was. Yixing had grown accustom to waddling around the cabin, sitting in bed, reading or doing puzzles. As well as having everyone visit him all the time.

It had taken both Yifan and Minseok at times, to get Yixing out of his fort. So while he was sleeping they moved all his blankets to the bed and when Yixing woke up he was buried and cozy in a blanket mountain.

Amber promised to come stay with them the week Yixing was due since she and Baekhyun would both have to help Yixing with his birth. Miyung regretfully couldn't come because she'd be on her honeymoon, after officially getting married to Show since they lived in the human city and mating wasn't a thing known to humans. But she promised to buy souvenirs.

Hwanhee and Taehyung raced around like a couple of rockets, the two omegas managed to get always Hoseok and Jimin to always play with them. Yoongi was still as lazy as ever and when Taemin wasn't feeling happy he would nap with the alpha. Seokjin, for a pup, was quite mature and his naturing omega side showed often. This was apparent in him getting blankets for Yoongi and Taemin, as well as bringing food to the other four pups.

Yixing wanted to leave his cabin, Yifan hadn't let him leave for quite a while, because he was a being a typical protective alpha. But Yifan wasn't around right now.

The brunette poked his head outside, cautious incase Yifan turned up. Minseok was lying in a patch of sun nearby, wearing only shorts and a t-shirt. Which was odd, they were still in their second last week of winter. Spring wasn't for two more weeks.

"Minseok?" Yixing said as he approached and managed to sit himself next to his brother.

"Oh!" Minseok practically jumped in surprise. "Xing! What are you doing out here?" He asked, sitting up and leaning back on his hands.

Yixing smiled brightly. "I need some fresh air." He said looking up at the sky. "Yifan has been keeping me locked up inside because he worries too much." He sighed.

"I would too if I were him." Minseok nodded in agreement. "You could hurt yourself. But I understand the need for fresh air." He said.

There was a comfortable silence between the two for a long moment before Yixing spoke. "Why are you wearing shorts and a t-shirt?" He questioned, looking Minseoks attire over.

"I'm just a bit warm today." Minseok responded nonchalantly.

"Are you sick?" The pregnant omegas eyebrows furrowed and he lent over to check his brothers temperature.

Minseok only laughed. "No, I'm not sick." He assured, ruffling his little brothers hair and swatting his hand away. "It's been three and a half months since your heat Xing." He smirked. "Connect the dots."

Yixing just stared at his brother for a long moment. You could just about hear the gears in his head churning. Suddenly he perked up, eyes wide. "Your heat!" He said finally. "It's due this week isn't it?" He asked.

"Yep." Minseok hummed. "I just hope it doesn't cause any problems, it's just so strong." He muttered looking down at his feet.

"It should be fine." Yixing assured. "Suho will look after Yoongi and Kyungsoo will get you two food since Jongdae won't let either of you leave your cabin." Yixing smiled.
