14. Crazy about your mate

"Jongdae!!!"

A piercing growl echoed through the cave.

Leo was ripped harshly from Minseok just before he was able to push himself inside the omega. Minseok looked up in shock, tears still streaming, to see Leo shift to fight off the other wolf that had come in. Minseok backed away to the wall grabbing anything he could to cover himself. Leos wolf was a dark grey and having a lot of trouble fighting off the intruding wolf. The intruder wolf growled and showed no mercy in overpowering Leo despite being smaller. Something was off.

Minseok recognised this wolf.

It was Jongdae.

It confused Minseok. This wolf was undoubtedly Jongdae but he had the presence and strength of an alpha right now. He didn't hesitate to rip into Leo causing the other beta to bleed everywhere. Jongdae growled, his eyes filled with the desire to dislodge Leos head from his neck for hurting Minseok. It honestly scared the omega seeing the usually placid, 'I'll do anything for you' Jongdae become so vicious and protective. The vicious beta lunged at Leos leg ripping so far into his skin you could see a hint of bone, all Minseok could see though tears was a blur as the fight continued. Eventually one of the betas came out victorious.

Leo, limping severely, ran from the cave. Jongdae immediately shifted back and rushed to Minseok, enveloping the omega in his embrace. "I'm so so so sorry." He said, shaking as he held the crying omega that wailed into his bare chest. "I'm never leaving your side again!" He petted Minseok.

"Jongdae..." Minseok clung to the beta hiding his face in the crook of his neck.

"Yes?" Jongdae wrapped himself around Minseok to help him feel safe.

"Thank you..." The omega sniffed. "Thank you so much." Despite being afraid of the beta only moments ago Minseok felt overwhelmingly warm and secure in Jongdaes embrace.

"Anything for you." Jongdae continued to comfort Minseok until he eventually fell asleep.

Yifan stood in the entrance to the cave still in wolf form. "Is he ok?" The alpha asked.

"He should be. But I'll look after him. I don't ever want him to feel lonely ever again." Jongdae stood with the sleeping wolf in his arms.

"It appears that there is something you need to explain to me." Yifan looked to the entrance of the cave. "But leave it until you're ready. Take Minseok home." The alpha turned away. "I have a rouge to catch."

Yixing was being carried, he was on the back of the wolf he'd met in the flower field. Ken and the others had all shifted and forced the remaining omegas to jump on their backs and hang on. Yixing didn't know where they where being taken, but he knew that Yifan and the betas where coming for them.

Growling and howling started to eco through the forest, bouncing off the trees creating the illusion of many wolves following. Luhan howled out at the sound of his mates call earning him a vicious bark from Hyuk who was carrying Baekhyun because Hongbin had Seokjin in his jaw and couldn't tell his captive off. Luhan whimpered, he didn't want his son to be hurt. None of the other omegas wanted Seokjin to be hurt.
