Getting "Crushed"

19. 4th puppy: You and your mate working.

Amber smiled as she gave Yixing, Baekhyun and Kyungsoo the addresses of the places she had found for them to work at. Yixings and Baekhyuns was a cafe near the hospital Amber works at. Yixing was wearing a set of clothes Amber had given him of her own that amazingly fit him quite well and Baekhyun had taken a lot of pleasure in doing his hair neatly.

The two of them entered the cafe as confident as they could, Yixing noted that Baekhyuns healed mating mark was mostly covered in make up so the the humans wouldn't be able to see. Yixing too had to use make up to cover the hickeys Yifan had given him not even 48 hours ago. Baekhyun approached the counter telling the person behind the register they wanted to talk to the manager. The moment they mentioned Amber they where hired on the spot as waiters to begin with and maybe barristers later on.

Within the first hour of working Yixing noticed that Baekhyun was a natural. The other omega was chatting and smiling at all the customers he served, Yixing was even sure some of the human men where hitting on him. It was amazing how well Baekhyun got along with the girls too despite that they came from an all male pack.

"Don't you think this is fun Yixing?" Baekhyun smiled as he approached the counter where Yixing was taking orders, placing the plates and cups he was carrying in the sink.

"You seem to be having more fun than I am." Yixing replied as he wiped down the counter top because someone had spilt their coffee.

"It's been quite awhile since I've talked to girls actually. It's nice." Baekhyun mused. Yixing only looked at him questionably making Baekhyun laugh. "In my old pack I was the only male omega and so all the other guys where almost afraid of me because they thought I'd hit on them. That's why they threw me at Yifan when he came over with Suho and Sehun; once they saw he had another male omega, bam, I was given to them. I was only able to spend time with the other girl omegas at my old pack. They're quite open to everything." Baekhyun explained.

"That would make sense." Yixing nodded and the tattle tail sound of the door opening disturbed them as the new arrival approached the counter.

"Welcome" Baekhyun greeted as he took Yixings spot as the other omega went to a table to collect more dishes.

"Hey," the man said as he looked Baekhyun over.

"What can I get for you?" Baekhyun smiled his usual smile.

"A piece of you would be nice." The man said making Yixing whip his head over in astonishment. Baekhyun is mated! Yixing thought. But then he realized; not only was Baekhyuns mark covered but this man wasn't a wolf. Unlike wolves humans couldn't smell that Baekhyun was covered head to toe in Chanyeols lingering scent.

Baekhyun let out an awkward laugh. "Sorry but I'm maa-rried." Baekhyun quickly corrected himself before he said mated. Technically he wasn't lying, to a wolf mating was marriage. The man looked to Baekhyuns left hand.

"You're so young, and you don't have a ring." The man said. So what that Baekhyun was 19 and mated?

"I'm just not wearing it today, we only got married a couple months ago and the ring is too big, I didn't want to lose it." Baekhyun quickly replied. "So what can I get for you sir?" He smiled.

The man ordered a coffee and left quickly, Yixing approached Baekhyun with his arms full of dishes. "Don't you dare tell Chanyeol about this." Baekhyun pointed a finger at Yixing who shook his head that he wouldn't dare. Baekhyun looked at his hand. "Maybe I should get a ring for stuff like this?"

"You got hit on?" Amber asked when Baekhyun explained his predicament. She couldn't stop laughing.
