Getting "Crushed"

20. Being courted without your mate.

Yixing stared up at the alpha in front of him, what was he supposed to do or say in the scenario? Baekhyun had told him that if someone flirted with him to straight up tell them to go away but this 'someone' was another wolf. An alpha.

"My name is Show." The alpha said snapping Yixing from his thoughts. "What's yours?" He had that smile again. The absolutely stunning one that Yixing couldn't take his eyes off.

"Yi-Yixing." The omega said quietly. This alpha was dripping authority and confidence. The omega looked over to Baekhyun who was frozen in place by one of the tables, cleaning cloth still in his hand. The other omega shook his head. If this was a regular person he could tell them to back off since Yixing was technically taken but this was an alpha; who had obvious interest in Yixing.

"Yixing." Show tested the name on his tongue. Oh how Yixing wanted to drop to his knees and cry right now. He liked Yifan, was ready for Yifan to be his one and only forever and this alphas interest was radiating off him so much it was hard to think straight with all the pheromones in the air. "I can tell you're already being courted by another alpha." Show smiled slyly. "But as far as I'm concerned you're fair game. Now I'd like a coffee please."

Show wasn't there for more than ten minutes but the effect on Yixing would be ever lasting; his hands were shaking and his knees felt weak. Once the alpha left with a wave and a promise of coming back tomorrow Baekhyun rushed to Yixing. "Are you ok?" He whispered as he took Yixing to the break room asking one of the other employees to take over the register.

"Oh god." Yixing said as he collapsed on the couch in the break room. "I'm shaking." He whispered holding up his hands.

"I'm so sorry I couldn't help you." Baekhyun wrapped an arm around his friend. "I could smell him from where I was standing though. He's really into you Yixing." This only made Yixing groan and burry his face in the crook of Baekhyuns neck.

"What do I do? He said he'd come again tomorrow." Yixing said quietly. "My body, my heart and my head where all screaming at me." He mumbled. "All different things too."

Baekhyun petted Yixings head as he calmed down the other omega who was about ready to break into tears. "Unfortunately Yixing, there's nothing I or anyone can do to help you. You're going to have to deal with both him and Yifan courting you and decide what you want."

Luckily the rest of the day went by quickly and soon enough they where home, Yixing immediately headed for the room and collapsed on the bed. Baekhyun closed the door of the room. "It's best not to go in there. He's had a rough day." He'd told Yifan when the alpha asked why he hadn't said hi. If Yifan where to know about Show then it would be up to Yixing to tell him.

Yixing cried that night. In the arms of his brother who didn't know what was wrong but comforted him anyway.

Show came in again the next day, and the day after that. For the last week it had become routine. Show would come in about 11am when it wasn't busy and flirt with Yixing who was at the register for no longer than 20 minutes before ordering his coffee and leaving. And every time Yixing would have to go to the break room to calm himself.

"Hey little Xing." Show said as he lent one elbow on the counter top.

"What can I get you today Show?" One good thing was that Yixing could officially hold a decent conversation without his voice shaking.

"I brought you something today." The alpha said showing his killer smile. Yixing tilted his head in question as Show reached into his back pocket and took out a small box. Yixing hesitantly took the box and opened it. In side was a key ring, it had a deep red base and a silver geometric 6 on it (go fighting logo). Honestly Yixing would be lying if he said he didn't like it.
