“I like cotton candy too!” Jake said gleefully.
“Two please” I told the man running the amazing cotton candy and popcorn stall?
The man looked like those people in the cartoon, kind smile and a cute little hat. Guess what colours they’re in. Red and white. Awesome huh?
“Here you go, two bucks thank you” he replied with those kind looking eyes.
Okay they’re freaking me out a little now. I handed him the money and continued walking. I gave Jake his share and started eating on mine.
“Hey!” a familiar voice boomed from behind.
I turned to see a not-too-pleased-Jacob.
Yeap, Jacob. Jake’s exact look alike. Twin? More like clones to me. Two awesome, cute brothers hanging out with me at a carnival. Unbelievable.
“I can’t believe you left without me! I like cotton candy too” Jacob said, pouting slightly.
He’s too cute for his own good. There and then I had a mental debate but sucessfully resisted from pinching his cheeks.
“Sorry Jacob” I pointed the cotton candy to him, ”forgive me?”
“I’d have taken it even if you didn’t offered” he said sticking his tongue out, pinching a big chunk of cotton candy.
Well, so much for cute.
“Iris! There’s this shooting dart game! Let’s play!” Jake shouted over his shoulder.
“Okay! Be right there!” I replied.
Jacob came dangerously close and whispered into my ear, “So how’s the feeling of coming here the second time? Hmm?”
I awkwardly laughed and pushed him away playfully, “HAHAHHA, okay I guess? I’m gonna find Jake!”
I ran towards his twin. That was a little too close.
“So let’s play this” I wriggled my eye browns, acting mighty.
“You’re on” Jake said, cool and calm for the first time.
5 minutes later,
“Let’s go somewhere else! This is getting boring!” I faked a yawn.
The twins held my shoulders.
“I don’t think so little girl” Jacob gave me an evil grin.
“Yeah, what’s the big idea” Jake sounded a little annoyed.
“Okay what do you want” I looked down, kicking the dirt and sand.
They were quiet, then moved closer and closer. Then, when I thought they were going to hit me.
“BOO!”
Laughter erupted like there was no tomorrow.
I felt my face heat up and I bended my head slightly down so that none of those idiots could see.
5..4…3…2…1…GO!
I jumped on Jacob, shaking him back and forth.
“IRIS?! WHAT…THE…HELL…” he half shouted half screamed.
I couldn’t stop laughing.
Jake was backing off slowly and quietly. Well, blame his luck.
I jumped for Jake and landed on his back.
“Iris, you weigh a ton! Get off me!” he shouted running around in circles.
I laughed evilly.
He started with lame comebacks like pig, loser, idiot. Well, that’s a start.
“No way in hell am I letting go, Jakey!” I laughed.
He suddenly stopped.
Did he give up? No way he’s the hyper little boy, so what can h-
He then ran full-speed at something that’d really hurt.
“JAKE DON’T YOU DARE!”
BAM!
