"Dont cry Iris" I heard Jacob say teasingly.

Ass

I stepped into the room where my fate is decided. Well, just a winny little bit of trouble shouldn't get me expelled, right? I truly hope for the best though.

"Ah, Irirs Summers," I heard the man muttered. "Am I right?" I wanted to speak but no sound would come out of my mouth, I simply nod. What happened to the brave bad ass just a while ago? So much for the little speech for my transformation, talk about fickle eh? The man gestured his hand for me to take a sit. I moved forward to the chair, taking a seat akwardly while wiping my sweaty palms on my jeans.

"So Iris," He took a deep breath out. "You do know why you are here, don't you?"

Looks like he was gonna make me confess on my own to him and beg for forgiveness, kind of like those soap opera that the first wife caught her husband cheating on her and forces him to confess before she does all kinds of stuff to him. Yeap, great. Just peachy.

I just nod and bended my head a little downwards, just like a child who was trying to steal a cookie from the cookie jar getting caught by mother dearest. Time to face the music then. I'm prepared.

I heard him sigh. I tilted my head up to look at the worn out Mr Stevens resting his head on both his knuckles. "Iris, I also heard you're new here. I really hope you don't cause any trouble for the teachers and I." He looked up, giving me a stern look for a moment before replacing it with a fatherly one.

"Uhmm. Yes sir? " it sounded more like a question than a statement. It definetly was getting a little awkward here.

"Be sure to never do it again, do you understand me?" He said, back to the stern voice. I nod repeatedly, not knowing what else to do. "Okay then. You can head back to class now"

What? That's it? No punishment? There was nothing at all! I stared at Mr Stevens wide-eyed, shocked and taken aback, I mean seriously, no detention?

He must have seen my face as he murmured, "Oh right, a late pass" He scribbed something on a piece of paper before passing to me. "Okay, you can return back to class now" I stood up and nearly skipped happily towards the door. Oh yeah! No punishment whatsoever! I opened the door a little too hard due to my new found relief and happiness. I cringed when the door hit the wall with a loud bang. "Oops! Sorry!" I said quickly and closed the door.

I stood behind it, I felt free, like something heavy was removed off my chest. Like a prisoner from jail, finally reasled after doing her time. I did an air punch and giggled a little. "Yeah! Free!" I spoke to myself and did a little happy dance.

Someone chuckled. I frozed at once. Shit. Someone was looking, now whoever that was definetly would be thinking I've a little problem up there. Ughh. I turned behind to see an unknown face with an amused smile playing on her face.

Who was she?

"Oh haha" I laughed saracastically. "Real funny Rach" I made a face at my new friend. She was Rachelle, same grade as me. I think i saw her in a few of my classes but I can't really recall much, we hit off well, she was what you call outspoken kind of people, you can also call them friendly. Apparently we were having the same class, biology. Some bullshit about structures or something, I hated it.  But Rach loved the subject heaps.

"It was damn amusing, I'll say that much" She responded, smirking. I felt my face turn red. "You know I don't start such things" I retorted back.

She snorted, "Yeah, because you're the goody goody type. I mean seriously, what have you been doing all your life? I've started doing little pranks and food fights since i was in elementary school" I shook my head and laughed a little. "Well, I've been studying, duh. And while you're creating trouble, I've been in the library. Studying and stuff." I said giving her a blank face, pushing up my non-existent glases.

She laughed, "Really, why haven't i seen you around these days, huh?" She crossed her arms. "Well, either ways you've been missing out on all this" I said gesturing my hands to myself, grinning. She ruffled my hair, "Yeah, you're one to talk, kid." she said, still ruffling my hair.

I grunted. "Just because you're slightly taller, doesn't mean I'm still a kid!" I pouted, crossing my arms. Damn, not just a little anyways, she was a 5'8 while I was, let's just say I'm a lot shorter in comparison. "Aww, is the little girl upset?" She snickered. "I didn't meant the height, I meant you being the pure little girl, you are. But, the height too though"

Rach is just really cool to hang with, she knows very well not to cross the line when making a joke at all. She's just cool like that i guess, even though I met her a few minutes but, she's awesome! I can see us in the future hanging out and rushing over homework. I laughed silently to myself.

"What?" She looked at me questionly. I shook my head and just smiled. "Well then, shall we exchange our numbers before going to class? We can enjoy the delights of texting during class" She spoked in a british voice, but failing epicly. We exchanged our numbers before heading to that one class I dread. Biology.
