Of all days, my alarm decided to be obnoxiously louder today.

Opening my bleary eyes, I slammed it shut. Or so i thought. It continues to ring.

Why.

I plopped myself on my elbow, my other arm reaching for the alarm. After sucessfully turning it off, I snuck back into my toasty heaven. The bed always feels the best early morning when you have to wake up. Well, everything else can wait, now its just me and my bed.

I felt myself slowly drifting off-

Sudden knocks on my door jolted me from sleep. How dare he disturb me from my sleep. Does he have a death wish?

The knocking continued and it even got louder.

"What?" I shouted in annoyance.

Then, my lovable cousin came stumbbling into my room. "Wake the hell up Iris, you have school today"

"No shit, sherlock!" I replied in mockingly.  "I'm sleeping in." With that, I wrapped myself in a made-shift cocoon.

"This is the fifth time this month" Dylan continued. "Keeping this up won't do you any good."

I groanned. And of all days, Dylan suddenly acted his age. But he does have a point, I haven't been doing well in school.

I reluctantly dragged myself up.

Slinging my haversack over my shoulder, I glanced at the clock. It was eight. I went down the stairs where I saw Dylan in the living room, who was watching a football match.

"We're late dude, hurry up."

"Well, since you've been mature and all, I don't see why I shouldn't let you go there yourself," He smiled at me. "Since you're so mature and all" he quickly added which causing me to smile wryily.

Then, I smirked smugly at him. "If you're not going to bring me, then I'd have to bring myself then." I sighed.

"That's good to hear-"

"By using your car" I added at the end, then quickly jump for his keys at the kitchen isle. Ignoring all protests, I quickly speed walked my way out of the house and unlocked his car then jumped into the driver's seat.

"So long, suckers!" I snickered.

"NOT ON MY WATCH"

I always knew I was slightly underweight, but it didn't occur to me stupid Dylan had so much strength that he could actually throw me in the backseat with one arm. I was still sitting at the back, eyes still wide open from the shock while Dylan grumbled under his breath.
