Hey~~~!! This would be my first time trying out, so really sorry if it sucked! ~~

================================================================

The shrill of the alarm clock surprised I as I fell off my bed, face flat on the hard cold floor.

“Damnit…” I pushed myself up before I glanced at the clock.

“It’s 7.15 already?!” I screamed. I grabbed my clothes before racing downstairs to get ready.

“Hey Iris! I thought you had school today?” my 24-year-old cousin, Dylan asked. There was silence, I was so not responding. “I can give you a ride if you want…school’s starting at 7.30 right?”

After hearing the last part I ran out of the bathroom, towards my cousin and gave him a big bear hug, “Really?! Thanks Dylan! I love you so much!”

Dylan scowled then smirked, “Wow, your hair’s great!” I let go of Dylan, trying to straighten my hair.

 “Thanks,” I replied sarcastically.

Then Dylan came closer to my ear and whispered, “Race ya to the car,” And he dashed out of the house.

“You are so on dude!” I shouted, grabbing my sling bag and dashing for the door. Dylan was already in the car. When I hopped in, Dylan proudly announced,”Round 1, THE DUDE 1 THE CHICK 0!”

“It’s on again tomorrow! Cheater! ” I told Dylan.

“Oh~ And we have a sore loser!” Dylan was announcing once again.

“Shut it!” I growled and punched Dylan’s left arm.

“Ouch…” complained sarcastically, “I think I broke my arm! Call 911 now” he continued to mock.

“How old are you…” I muttered under my breadth as I stared out of the car’s window.

It was raining. Everything had seemed to return back to normal. Even though my parents left me 3 days ago, I was back to normal and now living with my not-so-normal cousin.

“Yo Earth to Iris!” Dylan called.

I turned my head and glared, “What do you want?! Mr Big Ass!”

“School’s right in front of you,” he said and glanced at his watch, “and you still have 30seconds! Aren’t you going to thank me?”

I opened the door, “Thanks,” I said, “As if!” I quickly slammed the door before racing towards the general office.

I entered the room and bowing my head to apologize immediately, “I’m sorry I’m late.”

The lady there replied, “It’s okay, you must be the new student, Iris Summers right?”

I nodded.

She handed me a green file containing a map and a timetable.

“Your first class is History,” she said with a smile and waved, “Go on, don’t be late.”

“Yes,” I bowed again before leaving.

I held the map in my hands.

How do they read these map?! There isn’t a wall here! Where did they get the door there?! This isn’t gonna get anywhere, I gotta find somebody. Before I knew I hit into someone’s chest.

“Ow…”
