Chapter 13
UNEDITED, I'll fix all mistakes in the final edit.

"Wow," I breathe.
"You're such an arse, Casey," Louis whispers but there is a tone of seriousness in his voice.
"Louis, I'm so sorry. Look, I love you but I-we can't do this anymore." And then I stopped dead in my tracks. Holy shit, did I just tell Louis that I loved him? Oh my god, he's going to think I'm like a freaky fangirl or a stalker or something.
Oh dear God Casey, why do you have to open that big mouth of yours?
"I mean — um, like, oh my god what is wrong with me?" I say out loud. I take a chance and look at Louis who's just standing there with his arms crossed on his chest with the biggest smirk I have ever seen.
"So you love me, huh?" He says with pure amusement.
"Oh don't flatter yourself, I loved you way before I actually knew you," I retort with a smirk of my own.
"Well, that hurt."
We look at each other and smile while the silence is quiet and on any other occasion it would be eerie.
How in this world did I manage a guy like Louis?
But then reality decided to knock on the door. As I finally come to my senses, my smile turns to one of sorrow. "Louis, listen I really can't."
"Are you going to tell me what happened?"
I shake my head in response and Louis becomes visibly paler and his eyebrows crease together. "Why?"
"You know what? Let's forget this ever happened. You wanna come upstairs and watch a movie or something?"
Louis is still unhappy about the fact that I'm not telling up, but he doesn't refuse my offer. Maybe he thinks that in due time I'd tell him. But, for his own safety, I would never tell him. And I know in a relationship no one should lie, but in this case it doesn't count.
Plus, I'm not lying to him, I'm just avoiding the truth. Ignorance is bliss.
"So what do you want to watch?" Louis asks.
"You're the guest, you're the one who's supposed to decide."
"Geez, okay, um, how about...the Lion King?" He says and points to the only DVD that's on the table.
"Fine." I put the disc into the player and he sits on the couch, and I lean on his hand and my legs are propped up on the sofa. I pulled the duvet on and I tell Louis to switch the lights off.
Louis is really comfortable.
Just imagine I never said that. I sound really creepy.
We are barely fifteen minutes through when I hear a loud shriek, "Casey! What are you doing?" Great ma, just freaking great.
"I'm watching a movie."
"But I heard a guy's voice."
"That was Mufasa!"
"Are you sure she wasn't talking about me?" Louis asks. I nod. Oh wait, Louis did sneeze.
I hear footsteps walking up the stairs, "Really, please tell me when Mufasa sneezes in the movie," My mom dead-panned. "Young lady, if you ever lie to me again, I'll - Oh!" My mom abruptly stops. "Oh," She smirks and elongates that word till it reaches China and back.
"Seriously?" I say under my breath.
I know my mom can't see the face that he's hiding, and I know she doesn't think its Louis because she hasn't paid any attention to the pictures I've showed her. The only picture she's seen and I think she remembers is from I think WMYB.
My mom switches the light on and Louis gets up to shake her hand. The moment my mom sees his face her mouth forms a perfect 'o' and she squeals. She freaking squeals! Could this get anymore embarrassing?
"Louis," My mom says curtly and nods her head after she finally composes herself.
"Hello ma'am - I mean Mrs Andrews," Louis extends his hand out nervously.
My mom chuckled, and took it and said, "Call me Sasha."
Louis nods and the awkward silence begins to settle in.
"Well, then, I'll leave you two to it. Casey you looked rather comfortable, I'm assuming this will not go into the bedroom?" My mom gives me a pointed look and asks rhetorically.
Really? I blush so hard, the phrase tomato red would be an understatement.
As my mom walks down Louis smirks at me and winks. "Oh shut up." I tell him.
The movie goes on and Timon and Pumbaa start singing Hakuna Mata. The song barely starts when I hear a glass objects break and a loud, high-pitched, ear-piercing scream that I wouldn't be surprised if it came out of a banshee.
But sadly, I knew that it would be too good to be true.
The sound came from my mother and I know exactly why.
He's here.
"Louis, just shut up, don't do anything. Get out from my window and go to the backyard, jump over the fence and walk out like nothing happened. I'll explain everything to you later."
I peck him on the lips and close my eyes for an extra second. He kisses me on the cheek and turns around, I grab the baseball bat and I walk towards the stairs.
I'm grabbed by the hand and spun around and I am scared. I notice it's Louis and the fear turns to pure anger. "What the hell are you doing here?"
"I can't leave you here." I gave him a look that said "get the hell out of here before this bat hits you some where it really shouldn't"
"Jeez, I came back for this," He gives me a tender kiss and looks me in the eye. "I love you too, Casey."
Shit.
This just makes everything harder.
He's too close to my dad because of me and if I let him get any closer, we could both be dead.
I watched Louis shoulders slump and I saw him jump out of my window after I had closed my eyes and with water force and power and will that I had left I said something that would either be for the better or worse.
"If you love me, you'll leave and never make contact with me unless I call you or it's completely necessary."
