Okay so I kinda take back what I wrote about "best week ever". First of all we lost David Bowie, a wonderful man who inspired so many. I was lucky enough to visit the Bowie tribute mural in Brixton and my friend and I bought a bunch of flowers to put down. It was so moving to see how much he meant to people.
And now Alan Rickman has left us. My whole friendship group was on the brink of tears when we found out at school, apart from me who inevitably cried. Snape has always meant a lot as a character to me. Alan Rickman will be sorely missed by everyone.
Cancer needs to be stopped, and I'd like to take this opportunity to say that Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco has said that all profits they make from merch this week will go to Cancer Research UK to prevent this kind of tragedy in the future. Lots of respect to this man.
