An introduction to me

Okay so I'm not the first person to do this and I bloody well hope I'm not going to be the last because basically in case you haven't heard which you might well not have done considering the stupidly little amount of coverage this is getting, some guy in Orlando saw a gay couple in public and then thought it would be a good idea to go and shoot up a gay bar, killing over 50 people and injuring many more.

Now let me get something straight. I am not gay but I support the LGBTQ+ community and I have friends and relatives within that community whom I love with all my heart regardless of who they are attracted to. I understand that some people don't agree with being gay because of their religion or another reason. That's fine too, as far as I'm concerned you can believe what you want to believe and follow whichever teachings you wish as long as you don't force your opinions on other people and don't discriminate, but what this man did is simply disgusting.

The bottom line is the people in that bar are humans too and now 59 of those people are dead because of one man's intolerance to something that wasn't affecting him at all.

I don't know about any of you but I don't want to live in a world where innocent people are murdered because of who they choose to love and where this abominable shooting can happen with such little recognition. No matter what you believe, I'm sure if there is a god they would be appalled at the idea that things like this can happen under their name. What this man did is murder. Plain and simple. He hurt so many people, and not just those in the bar. Everyone in the LGBTQ+ community and every LGBTQ+ ally has been affected by this and I'm ashamed to breathe the same air as the man who slaughtered 59 people and injured at least 53 because they weren't exactly the same as him.

Whether you support gay rights or not, this is an unacceptable thing to do so please pass this on to try to make up for what the rest of the world isn't recognising.

This was a long rant but I think it's extremely necessary so I'm not going to apologise.

However if I have offended anyone in this, I am sorry and it was completely unintentional.
