Chapter 13

Chapter 12- Last day of happiness

I wiped the last tears that fell down my cheek and made my way slowly up the basement and to mine and Eve's room. As I walked inside I made my way to my bed and got under the covers as I was too tired to check for injuries and would the next day.

The next morning, the warm sun shone on me and made me wince and turn over. Looking at the time I saw it was 12:30pm and Eve was nowhere to be seen. Getting up I made my way into the shower and had a relaxing warm shower. Wrapping a towel around myself, I blow dryed my hair and put on some pink panties and bra. I then wore some black skinny jeans with ankle boots that were black and a white full arm blouse as I wanted to hide the bruise that I had discovered on my wrist from yesterday before I showered. Making my way downstairs I saw all my friends in the living room watching a movie. Once I walked in they all stared at me.

"Hey." Josh said as he made his way to me and kissed me on the lips, I quickly pulled away before it went too far after remembering the warning I got last night.

"Hey." I whispered.

"Did you have a good sleep." I nodded and then we joined the others on the couch and finished watching titanic I mean really why would you watch this film, especially boys?

After 2 hours and the torture of that film, we made our way to the garden and started to play some cricket. I loved cricket and was really good at it. It was boys vs girls. We were fielding first and boys were batting as we won the toss. I was captain of my team and Josh was the captain of his.

"Come on baby." I said laughing as I watched Josh move away from the ball I had thrown the 10th time.

"Hit it slower." He whined.

"I thought you were a man." He pouted which I found adorable.

I laughed and threw the ball again which he made a four with.

After half an hour it was time to swap. We had to beat 236-4. That was a really easy challenge I mean, couldn't they have got over 300. Cleo and Jasmine were batting first they had only made 5 runs before they were out. I groaned seriously, were they that stupid to run from a ball. It was finally mine and Eve's turn. I batted the most runs and made 20 sixes and 5 fours.

After 2 hours, we had made 320 runs because of me.

"How did you do that?" Said Josh out of breath whilst the others were catching their breath and waiting for my answer.

"I used to play for a girls cricket team at my old school and it's my favourite sport." He just smiled.

We all went back inside and got changed after having a shower. We made our way to the living room and were talking and playing truth or dare. The bottle was spinning whilst we were in a circle. Cleo spun the bottle and it landed on Josh, I was kind of angry as I thought she might try something on Josh that I would not like at all.

"Truth or dare." Cleo said with a smirk on her face.

"Truth." Josh said which made me smile and he returned one to me. Cleo let out a agitated sigh and began to think of something to ask Josh.

"Who was the best girl you have ever slept with?" She said with a smirk hoping and known Josh would say her as I hadn't slept with him.

Josh looked at me and said "No one yet, but I know I will have one soon." Josh smirked at me after saying it whilst Cleo rolled her eyes and everyone had smirks and grins on their faces, I felt a blush creep on my cheeks and wanted to hide and pretend this never happened.

"Come on we should go to bed." Said Eve. Everyone agreed and got up.

I came out of my bathroom after changing into a tank top that was blue with purple pink shorts and was getting ready to go to bed whilst Eve was changing in the bathroom. I squealed when I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist.

"Hey." A husky voice said. I turned and saw Josh.

"Hey." I replied.

"Did I scare you?" He smirked.

"Please." I said with a bitchy attitude.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"If you don't want me here, I will go." He said with a hurt face on.

"No." I said pulling him back as he was about to leave. He smiled.

"I wanted to say goodnight..." He leaned into my ear and whispered.

"And see you." I closed my eyes and a moan slipped out of my mouth. Josh chuckled. I blushed.

"I so want to do this." He said, I was confused so arched my eyebrows, until he leaned to my height and came closer whilst his eyes were closed, until our lips touched. It was intense and sweet. I pulled him closer not wanting him to leave. He smiled against my lips. He licked my bottom lip asking for entrance which I didn't accept to tease him. I kept doing this until he groaned and slipped his hand in my top which made me gasp and him slip his tongue in my mouth. He smiled whilst i was annoyed but forgot about that, as i concentrated on the kiss. We pulled each other closer until we heard a cough. Pulling a way from the kiss, josh groaned in frustration whilst I flushed in embarrassment. Eve was there with her arms crossed over her chest and a smirk planted on her lips.

"Would you please mind doing this exploring of each other away from me?" Said Eve.

"Haha very funny, I know you're jealous." Josh said.

"Yeah right." Eve snorted in laughter.

"Don't worry very soon you will have someone."

"Yeah-" Eve was about to say something but I ended their little debate as it was kind of annoying

"Please can you two stop!" I exclaimed. They nodded and then smiled.

"Goodnight love." Said Josh and then planted a kiss on my cheek, that had me longing for more. He chuckled at my reaction and then left. I turned to Eve and saw her smirking.

"What!" I said.

"Nothing." She said suspiciously then tucked into bed.

"Just ask me." I said annoyed as I knew what she wanted.

"TELL ME EVERYTHING ABOUT THE KISS!" She yelled which I'm sure would have made me deaf.

I told her everything and how sparks were firing between us also how nice it felt. She awed and then we talked for ages before tucking into bed and dozing off.
