Chapter 4- The Party

The next day at school, there was a crowd at the school gates as me and Eve went to check what was going on we walked closer I saw Cleo was walking up to me, as she stood in front of me everyone stared I was shocked at the thoughts of what she might do to me. She just smiled at me and handed me a invitation card. I was confused at why she gave me this. "This is the invitation card to my 16th Birthday Bash please do come!" I was actually surprised as to why she was inviting me.

"Oh I nearly forgot to tell you that Eve can also come with you if you want her to as you can bring one friend with you." Then she just went.

When we were in lesson I couldn't think about anything but the party and wonder what I would wear at the party as I couldn't wear a dress because of what happened last night. Then as I caught sight of something from the corner of my eye I looked at the window and was terrified of what I saw it was the boy from last night's dream staring at me he was also the one who I was talking to on the first night we moved here. I just stared at him until Eve tapped me on my shoulder. When I looked at her I said to her what and she told me what I was staring at I said nothing. When I looked back the boy was gone I just sat there staring thinking he would come back but he didn't. Then I felt someone touching my wounds on my leg I looked down and saw nothing, then whatever was touching it started to hurt it and I jumped up and screamed, when I looked around I saw everyone in the class staring at me like I was a weirdo. I stared at them with tears in my eyes and ran out of the classroom just when the bell rang for end of school. I sat down near a bench and looked at my wounds and sobbed.

Just then Eve came and asked me what was wrong and what was that about in the classroom I said nothing but she didn't believe me. As I forgot to hide my wounds she saw them and said what had happened I knew she wouldn't believe me so I didn't tell her.

"Please tell me or I will think that you are not my friend."

"Fine but I know you won't believe me but I'll still tell you." When I told her she just looked at me "See I told you that you wouldn't believe me."

" I do and I will always be your friend no matter what."

"Thanks." Then we gave each other a hug and said we would meet at the party.

When I got home I told my mum about it and she gave me the permission to go as it was a Friday night. I gave her a big smile and went to get ready. I chose a black and white dress that was up to my knees, so I decided to wear some leggings underneath and black high heels as well. Then I left my hair open and wore a lot of make-up and jewellery. At 7pm I went to my mum and told her I would be back at 10pm she said ok and dropped me off.

When I got there I saw Eve she was wearing a long pink dress with her hair untied, this was the first time she had them untied, she looked so pretty. Usually she used to dress up as a tomboy. We greeted each other and complimented each other as well and then walked in to the party. Cleo greeted us and told us to have fun. Me and Eve just went and sat down near the food table and watched everyone else then a boy came and asked Eve for a dance Eve asked me if she could go and I said yes. As I stared at her dancing with the boy Josh came up to me and asked me for a dance I said yes and went but then when we were about to dance Cleo came and took him and said,

"Sorry he can't dance with anyone except me." I was quite upset but just said ok and went back to the table. As I watched them all dance Johnny then saw me and said to Yasmin,

"I'll be back." Then he came up to me and asked me for a dance I said no and he kept begging me then Yasmin came and said.

"Oy, Johnny you're supposed to be with me."

"I'll get back with you later." She got angry and walked off. I said no again and said go with Yasmin as she is a better girl than me. So he went. Then it was time to cut the cake, after the cake cutting there were some dance performances until it was 9pm and the couples were all on the dance floor. As I looked over to the side I saw the boy again near the swimming pool I stood staring at him until he vanished. Then when I turned around I accidentally spilled juice all over Cleo, everyone started to laugh at her and I also apologised but she was really angry. When she returned after getting dressed I was standing near the swimming pool looking at where the boy had gone and trying to find some clues. Then Cleo came up to me and started to argue with me about the drink spilling and then she pushed me into the swimming pool. I couldn't swim and started to gasp for air and then Josh jumped in and rescued me but I was Unconscious. As I regained conscious I was really humiliated and upset that I told Eve I wanted to go home. She said ok but Josh said he would drop me off but I said no I would be ok as my mum was coming to pick me up but I was lying.
