Z: So this is my situation. I like this boy on my Sunday class. Sometimes he'll stare at me and then next week he won't. Since I'm shy sometimes the teacher will ask a question and I'll whisper mine and he'll steal it (but in a playful way) sometimes I even give him wrong answers so that he'll get them wrong and then we'll both laugh. Also I have him on snapchat and he'll usually be the 3rd or 7th person to see my snap. This gives me the idea that he likes me. But I'm too scared to ask, and Im pretty sure that it's obvious that I like him. But this is where the problem comes in. I like him and I want him to like me back, but I'm not allowed to date and there's no way for us to secretly date even if we wanted to. My brothers in my Sunday class as well so we wouldn't be able to hold hands or hug or anything. If we dated our relationship would basically consist of texting, and I don't think I want that, but the idea of us together just makes me smile. I'm just overall confused for the most part. What do I do?
Me: Why aren't you able to date? What's your age? does your family know him?
Z: I have very strict parents. I'm 14. And they don't know him but I'm sure they've seen him in church before But I guess they just want me to finish high school first.
Me: I get it. I was hoping they knew him so they'd probably approve of it more than anyone else. Maybe you should talk to your parents?
Z: Yeah, I don't know if he likes me though, I don't want to ask my parents if I can date without knowing if he likes me yet.
Me: True. You guys get along really well, why're you scared of asking him?
Z: Just the normal fear of rejection I guess
Me: Well you'll never know if he's gonna reject you until ya try! Maybe you should try?
Z: Okay, I'll try to ask him and see what he says.
Me: Okay tell me how it goes! You got it! ♥♥
