Chapter 6: things I shouldn't of seen or heard PT 1

I quietly tramp through the forest to the lake, making sure nothing hears me as it is 1 am.

As I am approaching a massive oak tree that signals my nearing the lake, I hear voices. I stop dead in my tracks.

"No no no no that can't be true." I hear a male voice say. It's Tamanaki.

"It has to be, it all matches up." Another voice says.

"How?" Tamanaki asks questioningly.

"Think about it. No Fae is ever that strong when they first start out. Ever. And she improved quickly. She is almost as strong as you. She was born and found on the same day as she was born and lost."

"That proves nothing!" Tamanaki exclaims.

"Don't deny it, Tamanaki. You loved her. You just won't accept that it's her."

Tamanaki sighs.

"I just can't believe it. It's too much." And with that I hear Tamanaki's footstep get fainter and fainter, until I can't hear them anymore.

I fall to the ground, with my back against the old tree. They were talking about me? But who else? Who was 'she'?

After a few minutes I gather myself and walk slowly back home. I think about what they where saying, as the conversation plays back in my mind.

Until I hear Tamanaki scream out.

TAMANAKI'S POV

He's right. I loved her.

I turned and walked away from Blake after our conversation. No it can't be true. The information all lines up but I won't believe it. It could just be a coincidence right?

Yeah, it could.

I continue walking for a few more minutes, when I see something.

I see a black shadow. With wings. No.

"SHADOWS!" I scream out. I grab out my bottle with a protection potion and a damaging potion and arm myself. I drink the protection and rearm myself with a knife. A few seconds later, Blake and a few other guards come running.

A few seconds later, I hear another pair if footstep. Much lighter. Who could that be? No one else should be coming...

I turn to see who it is and my eyes go wide with shock.

DESTINYS POV

I turn and run. I must find him.

Must help him.

A surge of adrenalin rushes into me and I pick up my speed and my footsteps become lighter.

When I find him, he turns around. His eyes wide with shock.

"Destiny?!?" He shouts, confused. "You shouldn't be here! Go!"

"No! I'm going to stay!" I shout stubbornly.

He sighs a frustrated sigh and turns around just in time to see a figure covered in black leap towards in.

He acts quickly and throws the knife that's in his right hand into her stomach.

The figure cowers over in pain and Tamanaki uses that chance to throw a bottle at it. The figure then collapses. Not moving.

I stand there. Shocked. But I suddenly turn defensive as another figure leaps towards me. I kick it defensively, but I can't do much more. A sparkling red knife suddenly is in it's back. I look up to see a boy staring at it. He must of thrown it. He throws me a knife and I hold it. I climb into a tree and I try to think of something to do.

I try to think of some spell or magic thing I could do. I try creating things but nothing works. I sigh in frustration, wishing I had a bow or something. Suddenly a bow appears in my hand instead of a knife.

The bow is wooden, with a blue glow and a have 2 dozen arrows, also with a blue tint to it. I grab the first arrow and aim for a black creature. I hit it in the head. I aim for more and my aim gets better. Instead of injuring them, I kill a few.

Tamanaki looks up and notices me I'm the tree. In the corner of my eye I see him smile. I smile too.
