"I wonder how Nika's doing" Tama murmered to herself on the car ride to Kurokitsune-E-A. It was Nika's first trailer ride since she and Tama got to Oakland-Stables. The first ride didn't go smoothly either. This time she refused to get in the trailer, then fused when she did get in. Tama couldn't hear Nika's protests so she just had to hope everything was alright. Machi, Tama's friend, was driving them to the show. After a ton of rode, snow, and trees The came upon two horse status leading into the grounds. The bases had a word, or rather a name, written on it. The one to the left was Hades and the one to the right was Posiden. They were ushered to were they were to park the truck and trailer. Block T it was called. It was made for loading and unloading horses. There were already so many horse trailers there, this would be a big event.
"You'll be great Tama. If you can race her, jump her and have her do dressage surely this will be a run in the park for you two," Machi reassured the clearly anxious Tama, "besides I'll be on the other end of your waki taki the whole time. you won't be alone."
"I know Machi, I know" Tama replied smiling. This was the biggest event she's ever done and she was still pretty new to the whole showing thing.
"Lets get your horse out of the trailer before she gets out on her own," Machi teased.
Machi went to the back of the trailer with a purple/pink lead read to clip to Nika's halter when he opened the back. Nika had caused some damage to the trailer and escaped the lead she was in. She had been waiting at the door for it to be opened. She let Machi put the lead on her halter and take her down the ramp but the moment she was off the ramp, she rammed into Machi and started off. She didn't know where she was going, but she wanted away from that metal box!
"Nika!" Tama called in terror when she saw her mare had escaped. She then looked over to the back of the trailer and saw Machi stumbling still. Machi has a bad foot which means he goes off balance easily and doesn't ride much. They did bring Sharp Shot with just incase something went wrong and Machi needed to get out there fast. Sharp Shot was the fastest horse they had at Oakland-Stables but she couldn't jump this high yet. Well, Sharp Shot can be beaten in speed by her brother but that's only in group situations and this would not be. Tama grabs another lead and pulls Sharp Shot out of the trailer. She throws the lead over Sharp Shot's back and hops on bare back. They start off after Nika who hasn't yet gotten past the trailers. Sharp Shot closes up next to Nika but just out of reach of the flailing lead rope clipped to Nika's halter. Once Nika noticed Tama going for the lead, she whipped it over to the other side. Tama had Sharp Shot get too close to Nika and she switched horses. Tama finally got Nika to stop then led Nika and Sharp Shot back to the trailer.
"Guess the trailer is one thing we have to work on with Nika," Machi teased.
Machi grabbed Sharp Shot's lead and they walked the horses into block D where the horses would be staying. there was a blue roan with wings in the stall across from Nika. Tama thought she was seeing things when she looked at the Blue Roan.
Turning to Nika, "don't escape this one Nika," Tama asked kindly before walking to where she was sleeping
