"Vin you'll be on your own" Sugar said to the blue roan.

"I'll be fine. I may be older than most on this team but i ain't broken yet" The Stallion said with a youthful spark. "now if you don't mind Sugar," He grabs the message and attaches it to his breast collar of sorts, "I'll be getting this message to Nitrate. He's still pretty jumpy so I better go before he's found himself stuck in a tree." he jeered

"Oh you be nice to that poor boy. Nitrate's only got you, Minthral, and Bella. He's hard to gain trust to but you four are the ones he's closest to, especially Bella. Rumor has it that breeding season'll come and they'll be a pair." Sugar nickered knowing this would mess with Vin.

"No no no, Nitrate and Bella are just really close friends." He stated in denial, but secretly knowing his son had the hots for the wild bay filly.

"Go on Vin, we can't let Minthral's team bet us" Sugar lashed her tail and Vin nodded, "right. Lets go"

So the old blue roan stallion galloped off. On his path are some hard working tribe members in the field. Vin decides to take a temporary stop and say hello to the workers. One of them catches his coat color as he dances around the seedlings trying to grow in this soft fertile ground. The worker makes a noise which alerts the others. Vin steps wrong while trying to avoid the plants and slips on the soft almost muddy ground. All the workers hurry over to the old stallion and help him to his feet but it takes a few tries. He simply couldn't get any traction on the ground. When he did get up, he look around him and saw the destruction he caused and immediately felt guilty but all the tribe members did was smile at him. He had to figure something out quick. Then it came to him, there were workers that weren't in this race so her pawed names into the ground and thanked the tribe members. Old Vin turned around and carefully made his way out and continued on his way eventually making his way to Nitrate's post.
