Ashton thought he was straight.

The boy on his lips and the hands on his hips begged to differ.

Every time he left Calum's house, his head was spinning. He would run his fingers through his sweaty hair, look at the love bites lining his arms.

Other times it was a sense of peace. Calum's head cuddled into the crook of his neck, his tan fingers laced through his own, longer ones.

Calum sighed, pulled his lips away from Ashton and laying down next to the curly haired boy on the couch. Ashton turned on his side to face the boy, wrapping a protective arm around him.

"You're so beautiful." Ashton mumbled,  eyes scanning over the smaller boy. His warm, brown eyes were wide, and his toothy smile resembled a joyful little child.

Ashton never thought he could fall in love with someone in a instant. He thought the feelings developed over time, a spark that grows into a wild fire.

But Calum proved him wrong. Calum was Ashton's puzzle, the mystery he couldn't figure out.

How had Calum made Ashton fall for him in a matter of seconds?

Ashton felt the same protective need over Calum as he did with Lauren and Harry. He would fight for Calum, go to hell and back to keep him safe.

The last few weeks with Calum had been some of the best of his life. His heart swelled with every glance at the dark haired boy.

Ashton loved being in love.

Calum had no idea how he managed to get the boy laying next to him. He had no idea how Ashton could possibly feel anything for him, but Calum knew he did. He could feel it in Ashton's smiles, his curious eyes.

His heart pounded at the sight of Ashton's beautiful, hazel eyes. Butterflies flew in his stomach as Ashton wrapped his arms around him.

He found a sense of purpose. He found love.
