"It's raining." Luke signed Michael, offering him a small smile. But the boy barely looked up, just stayed cuddled under his pile of blankets.

The blonde huffed and walked across the room to the sad boy. He pulled the pile of blankets off from Michael, and he groaned before rubbing his eyes.

"Let's go outside" Luke gave him a small smile, dragging Michael up. He looked no better than he did before, his hair a grayish color and his clothes wrinkled. He resisted, but Luke pulled Michael out of the house, giving Mrs. Hood a small wave before exiting.

The air was cold and damp, but felt refreshing after being cooped up in the house with Michael all day. The brisk wind stung his now rosy cheeks, but he felt alive and free.

Michael barely kept up with him, but he'd never admit to Luke that the rain did make him feel better.

Within a few moments, Michael had a small smile growing on his face. Luke picked up the pace, running and splashing through the gray puddles.

Luke stopped suddenly, pulling Michael closer to him. He wrapped his arms around Michael's waist.

He placed a small kiss on Michael's nose, and Michael felt butterflies again. Luke's warmth surrounded him, making him fall in love with him all over again.

He got on his nose, and kissed Luke gently.

Luke was Michael's rainbow. Because after the storm, Luke was there.
