the story of us

One more day

       I wake up in the morning hoping that today will be the day you come back... Like you promised.
       however, like any other Tuesday, you didn't. I woke up, and plugged in my curler. I went downstairs to eat breakfast and my mom had made me pancakes, my favorite! My 16year old sister Courtney was down their eating. Courtney is in 11grade and I'm in 9th. I'm 14, and she's 16.
     I scarfed down my pancakes and ran back upstairs to do my hair. I put loose curls in and a braid in the front of my hair. For my outfit I decided to wear a loose white t-shirt and black leggings. Since it was mid December, it was rainy and cold outside so I had a grey jacket on as well. I put my mascara on and waited for Courtney so we could leave.
      she was finally ready so Courtney drove me to school. I instantly saw one of my best friends, Bailee. We've known each other since 5th grade but become the best of friends in 6th grade, and we have been since then. She had a red sweatshirt on with jeans and straight hair. She was talking to Emery, her 'friend with feelings' since 7th grade.
I got out of Courtney's car and ran over to them. Standing by the lockers was Brooke my other best friend. I have known Brooke since 5th grade, and we use to be neighbors. She was kissing her boyfriend, Liam who I've known since 6th grade but she just started being 'friends''with him.
I made a face at Bailee and we both started laughing. The bell rang for our first class and we all rushed there quickly. My first class is writing and I have it with Bailee, and my boyfriend Cody. Yes, yes, I have a boyfriend. I've known him since 6th grade, toward the end of 6th grade we both liked one and other but deicded we'd just be friends. In 7th grade, we were a little more close, but he wouldn't date me unless I didn't hang out with Ricky. Finally, in early 8th grade he asked me out. We've been dating since then.
I made my way to class and took a seat with Bailee and was later accompanied by Cody. "Omg chlo!" Bailee said scaring me. "OMG what!" I said and we all laughed. "Tomorrow is one year since Ricky moved, right?" She said. Codys smile instantly faded. "Uhh.. I don't know why would I be counting?" I said and bit my nail. She looked confused. I hoped she didn't say anything else.
