nobody else exists when I'm with them.
We piled out of the car thanking her mom for a ride. Bailee had straight hair and white jeans on with a grey shirt that had white stripes. Paige had curled hair and a grey shirt with a black heart and leggings.
We walked into Starbucks and ordered. We sat down at a booth and waited for our drinks. "I can't believe Brooke would do that.. Man and I thought.." Paige said shaking her head. I shrugged "I know where she stands in my life." I said and mumbled "Ricky to I guess" and I'm pretty sure they both heard. "It doesn't matter tho.. Just.. Just don't let me go. Please guys" I said to Paige and Bailee.
They called our names and we say back down to drink our drinks. "I won't ever do that." Bailee chuckled "is against the world since 5th grade.. Remember" she said and I smiled. "Yeah and you guys where there for me when nobody else was, I'll do the same for you. I love you chlo" Paige said and we all smiled.
We drank our drinks and walked over to the ice skating rink joking and talking. I remember Paige saying something as we laced up our shoes and I looked down laughing...
I looked back up and saw something I wish I could erase. I looked at Paige who had just put her hand on my knee, and saw what I saw. Bailee turned and her heart broke.. You could tell.
Brooke and Ricky, not just hand in hand, laughing and Brooke noticed me. Her smile faltered. I stood up and didn't have shoes on, but I didn't care. Paige grabbed my hand and stood up in her roller skates. Bailee couldn't move...
When Ricky noticed me, his smile didn't falter, just became smaller. "Chlo.. Chloe" he said and played with his hair. I sighed and mumbled "I can't believe you guys" I ran off. "Lukasiak!" He yelled and I watched him ice skate over to the exit an take his shoes off. Paige threw hers ice skates off faster than lighting striking a tree. Her and Bailee ran toward me and Ricky watched.
I sat down on the floor tired of running. Bailee and Paige sat down next to me. "He doesn't no what he did" Paige said. All I could think about was everything we'd been threw, the day we met, the day he hit me in the face with a tether ball, first day of5th grade, doing math throughout the year, our promotion, meet the teacher night of 6th grade, sitting by each other, Cody almost breaking us apart, 7th grade, the same schedule, 8th grade, half our
Classes together, all our vacations, everday in between, all of it up until the day he left...
And let me tell you... It hurt like hell...
