holding on is harder than its seems
The next morning we all woke up at like 9:45, on a Sunday? I wished I could fall back asleep! We made pancakes and danced around. I honestly loved these girls.
At 12, they went home and I took a shower and cleaned up. Just me and Courtney were home, so it was quiet. I put on codys grey shirt that said Nike with white spandex and I put my hair in a pony tail.
Someone was at the door and I didn't get up because I figured Courtney would get it, but she didn't do I did.
It wasn't at all who I was expecting.. It was Cody. I answered and a smile instantly appeared on my face. "Hay!" I said and he hugged me. "I heard about Brooke I'm so sorry, I'm here for you I promise" Cody said still hugging. "Yeah.. I can't believe she tried to hide Ricky from me!" I said shutting my door.
"What?" He said confused. "Yeah.. That's what you meant right?" I said confused. "Umm no. Chlo I ment the fact that she was taken to the hospital... You didn't hear?" He said and I dropped the food I had in my hands on the floor.
"What!" I said and could feel my eyes watering. Cody walked up to me and hugged me. "Courtney take us to the hospital please!" I said choking back my tears. She came around the corner and obviously asked why, I shook my head and Cody answered, he still had his arms around me.
I got in the back of Courtney's jeep hugging me knees. Cody sat on the other side and was staring at me. I bit my lip and watched the moon following us. I thought about all Brooke and I had been threw. I felt so bad.
I broke down and cried in my knees. I was scared. I wanted to tell Ricky.. But he was mad at me. It had always been me and Ricky, and he wasn't here this time.
      That hurt me even more.
