Chapter 14
Jesse P.O.V
Once Emily had told me that she was going back to Heaven i had to keep my emotions in check.
I wanted to snatch her into my arms and hide her, but i knew that i couldn't.
So i just held her as long as I could and didn't let go until i had to.
When it was time, i held back my worries and just told her how much i missed her already.
"Come back as soon as you can. I'll be missing you." I told her before I kissed her passionately on her small, pink lips.
She nodded and stepped back just as Kim did.
They unfolded their wings and lifted into the sky in one swift movement.
Just looking at Emily gave me happiness and joy to be her Mate.
She Looked over her shoulder and waved good-bye before disappearing into the clouds.
And that was the last thing i remember before getting rammed into a tree near by something huge and strong and blacking out.
The reason it was so easy for this person to ram me and knock me out was because i was weaker without Emily near by.
Part of being a Mate was to be near your Mate otherwise you weaken and die after long periods of time.
Since Emily was an Angel it was unknown to how this would affect her.
