Chapter 16

( Derek's P.O.V)

Earlier I was watching my Mate fly to heaven, her beautiful wings spread out from tip to tip.

Missing her so much it ached.

Then when she disappeared I felt my heart stop a second before something with horns knocked me to the ground making me go unconscious.

Hours later I wake in pitch black darkness.

Chains rattled to my right and I felt a stone wall behind me.

There was pressure around my wrists as I pulled my hands down, chains rattled.

"Derek?" a familiar voice called.

My head whips around looking for the voice though I know I will not see where it comes from.

Suddenly the lights come on to show six huge, red horned, black bodied, half human things.

Across the room from me was Jesse.

But in between us were the monsters.

Three went started walking towards Jess and the rest walked my way.

They stop in front of us and one leans forward, so close that I could smell it's breathe.

Stale blood and organs.

I know the smell because some rouge werewolves eat organs of animals for the fun of hearing it scream in pain.

I stared at the thing with narrowed eyes.

It smiled at me and started to speak in a weird language that I've never heard before.

The others smiled and laughed, then one by one they had drawn weapons of some sort.

And they all grouped together again in the middle of the room.

Jess was watching the door with concern.

He was shaking his head at nothing it seemed but then I heard Kim's voice in my head.

*Stay quiet and whatever you do don't move a muscle. We have a plan but you can't interfere no matter what, alright? This extremely important. So just listen to me and do as I say.*

I watched the door as she finished speaking and heard noises from outside it.

Two of the things went over to check it out, only before they could open the door, it was smashed down in one kick.

Kim and Emily were standing their with a poses of serious fighting skills.

The two things ran at them, but before they could even get close Emily shot up into the air, her wings spread out.

While Kim did a two high kicks nailing them right in their jaws.

They were down on the ground unconscious in under a second.

Emily flew above the other four as a tease.

"If I'm correct, you guys are all Morganians am I right?" she taunts them.

They nod before one tries to jump at her.

Emily flys a little higher before laughing at them.

They seem to have had enough because they all stack up onto each other and soon mold together limb by limb.

Before they are done molding, Kim attacks from the bottom and Emily attacks from the top.

They all fall down together and separate again.

"Emily get the chains!" Kim yells to Emily while she is fighting them all one by one.

Emily flys to Jess and smashes the metal cuffs off his wrists before flying to me and doing the same.

Once she has both chains she lands and runs to Kim.

Kim grabs one set of chains before they both wrap the silver chains around all four Morganians.

The last two wake from their slumber and look towards Emily and Kim with their friends tied up.

They look to each other and run at them.

While their distracted Jess and I run at them from both sides and smash them together.

"Who wants a hug!" Jess yells at the Morganians in their ears.

I laugh and smile.

"I do!" I yell back in the Morganians faces.

Jess and I tighten our 'hug' enough to make the Morganians mold together.

Then we drop to the ground and let Emily and Kim high kick them in their face.

It drops like a tower and splatters into a black gooey mess.

Kim and Emily smile at us before going over to the other four only before they do the same to them as he other two, they turn to ashes.

Emily grabs a small bottle from her belt and pours one drop on the piles of ashes.

"Now they won't be able to come back, even if the devil himself wanted them to." she tells us.

Then she looks at Jess and tackles him to the ground.

I laugh at them before Kim does the same to me.

"I missed you." she tells me before putting her lips to mine.

*I love you.* I tell her in her head.

I feel her smile against my lips as we continue to kiss.
