My Mate is an Angel?!

Chapter 23

(Sarah's P.O.V)

When I heard Jess' truck leave the drive way I knew right away that Emily was having her baby.

It seemed to be too soon, but I guess it wasn't with how big her belly was.

Derek and Brent took us to the car and they put us in the back while they took the front.

Kim and I didn't complain considering how we needed to get to the hospital quick.

Before even a minute past by we were in the hospital parking lot and walking to the doors.

Once we were inside I took charge in asking about Emily.

The nurse behind the counter told me right away where Emily was and how she was doing.

Once I felt content with the information I took a seat in the waiting room beside Brent.

"She said that Emily is doing fine. Her room is just down the hallway and to the left, room 9." I told them while snuggling into Brent's side.

Kim nods and seemed pleased knowing Emily was just down the hall.

Derek kissed the top of her head when she leaned into him.

This whole werewolf thing used to be a little weird and unusual but now it's comforting and calming cause really there just big fluffy teddy bears ready to be hugged.

Unless you make them angry by hurting the ones they love, then there more like sharks.

Brent unconsciously twirls my hair around his fingers making it so easy for me to almost sleep.

I say almost because I know I won't be able to, without knowing if Emily is going to be okay.

Rain drops fall on the window next to us, very lightly, but you could still hear the "shhhhhhhh" of the rain.

After hours of just listening to the rain fall a nurse comes over to us.

"Emily is resting now but she wanted me to tell you that she had twins. A boy and a girl. Nassir and Nadira." the nurse tells us with a joyful smile towards Kim and I.

My eyes widen with surprise.

She had twins!

That's amazing!

The nurse leaves us and Kim smiles at me.

"Twins!" we say together with happiness.

Laughing I look out the window and said to myself, "who would have thought?"

Looking back to Brent I smile and lay my head on his lap.

I can't wait to see them.

[ 6 hours later]

I wake up to the sound of shuffling feet.

Derek and Kim are walking back from down the hall.

Sitting up I yawn and wave a hello to them.

"Morning." they say before siting down and snuggling.

"Is emily awake? Are Nassir and Nadira alright? Can we vist them yet?" I ask Kim.

Kim replys,"Yes. Yes. And yes."

Nodding I look over at Brent before standing up and grabbing his hand.

He stands with me and I start heading to Emily's room.

Halfway there I hear a baby cry and Emily's voice singing to the baby.
