My Mate is an Angel?!

Chapter 24

(Derek's P.O.V)

The man had stawberry blond hair and cold blue eyes.

But that's where the similarities to Emily end.

He looked holy and like a warrior.

His skin had a white glow around it, as if he were more than human.

That was all the clues I needed to put together what and who he was.

He was an Angel.

'He isn't Emily's cousin. He's an archangel that might be related to her somehow but he is deffinetly not her cousin.' I send to Kim while staring the angel down.

"What's your name, angel?" I ask him while shifting my body closer to Kim.

"I have many." he tells me with a chuckle before contiuing. "My name is Michael. Not the famous warrior one a different normal one."

I stared at him for a second before nodding knowing he wouldn't lie.

Kim stared at michael for a minute before saying, "It is you! I thought you looked familiar I just didn't put the name with the face."

Michael looks at her for the first time and smiles.

"You've grown big, Kimmy! I suspect you will birth a handsome baby boy soon. Four weeks from now right?"

"Yes. His name is Kemble. Kemble the Warrior Cheif." she tells him proudly while snuggling into my side.

He chuckles and smiles at her.

"He will be a great warrior, Kimmy. But back to Emily. Where is she Kimmy? Please I must know." he says grabbing her hands in his.

She looks deep in his eyes and sighs.

"She's at Jess' house, with her family. Please don't ruin that for her."

He closes his eyes and kisses her knuckles.

"Thank you, Kimmy. I will not hurt her or her family in any way."

And just like that he was gone.

"Warn Jess and Emily that Michael is coming to visit them." Kim tells me while closing her eyes and leaning her head against my chest. "He isn't fast enough for Emily to not prepare herself."

With that last sentence I nodded a yes and sent the information to Jess and Emily.

And before Kim could protest I picked her up and walked the rest of the way to the car with her in my arms.

I put her in the car and walked around to the driver's seat.

After a second of just sitting there with Kim in my arms I started the car and went to Jess' house.

We got there in less than a minute and I helped Kim out.

There was a crash that came from inside the house.

Before either Kim or I could comment about it Emily ran out the front door and to Kim.

Jess followed close behind her and Michael was just a few feet behind.

"I don't know you! We have never met so how can we be related?!"Emily yelled furiously at Michael.

"You've never met me before because you were sent back here before I could meet you. Since I didn't get to meet you, God sent me down here to help you as a informant about demons."

"Fine. But how can we be related?" Emily persisted with a slight calm to her voice.

"Your father is my uncle. We were in a war together back in 1989 and I got killed by a sharpshooter. I've been watching you grow into this beautiful woman you are now, since then. I never got to see you in person because it was already too late when I found out you had died. You were already sent back to Earth for a second chance at life. When you returned I didn't hear about it until the last minute. So I never got to see you then either. I really favored your father over my own so to me your more of a little sister, I guess." Michael gave her a half-hearted smile before continuing. "To me you are the only family I can talk to considering you used to be an Angel and are still one, in a way. Kim knows me because I had helped her find you through Derek. I helped her find the way to earth."

Kim smiles and nods, "He tells the truth. I can remember him because we were just between heaven and Earth. But he's the only one I can remember from our erased memories."

Emily looks at Jess, Kim, me, then finally to Michael.

She steps forward towards Michael and says,"Fine. But if you make one wrong move towards any of my loved ones I will kick your butt to china and back. You sleep on the couch until I feel you are trustworthy enough to give you a room."

Michael smiles and closes his eyes, "That's fine. I'm perfectly fine with that. Ask any questions about me and I will answer just, please, don't ask me to leave."

Emily nods before turning to go back into the house.

Jess follows close behind with Kim and me behind him.

Michael comes in behind us and shuts the door.

Brent and Sarah, who are holding the babies smile at us and hand Emily and Jess the babies.

Nassir looks at michael and just stares at him until Nadira crys then he looks back to Nadira.

She instantly quiets and smiles at him.

I watch the two as they play with each other.

Before long Emily and Jess take them up stairs to their bedroom so they can sleep.

Once they come back down we all sit down in the chairs and couchs to relax.

Kim sits in my lap and snuggles into my side making me relax enough to fall asleep.

Today has been a really long day.

I just hope tomorrow isn't as long.

Closing my eyes I fall asleep to the sound of Kim's and mine heats beating in unison.
