London Bridge wasn't exactly a place that held any sentimental value now that she thought about it. It was more somewhere she could turn to and find a reminder of her mom or even Micah. But she didn't find them there at all. And now that she really thinks about it, they weren't anywhere in London. Still, she wasn't going to leave because of that.

Today was just two days after that concert where Zayn had pulled her out from the crowd and onto the stage to sing to her. The same spot where she had basically announced to the entire world that she's with him and he's with her.

However, that's not exactly true though.

It wouldn't really make sense for her to just come back from some random place and be accepted. Especially since Zayn had no idea where she went nor when she was coming back. But he didn't completely hate her.

After they had finished that song, she was pulled backstage where she was showered with hugs and kisses, all from Zayn. But that welcome didn't last very long; just as Liam assumed.

Zayn had looked at her after all he did and then she saw that flicker of hurt in his eyes. He ran off and had told the guards to take her away. Felicity didn't fight. But she had screamed out an apology, asking him to meet her at the bridge on this day. That's all she got out before she was kicked out.

Before the concert, she had called the only person she knew would help: Liam. The closeness wasn't sudden, nor was there friendship. When she had arrived in America, she had called Zayn in hopes she could apologize. But when she had called, it wasn't Zayn who had answered; it was Liam.

Liam was, as they had called him, like a father- but with his age, more an older brother. At first he had yelled at her, telling her about how he and the rest of the band were mad at her because of what she did to Zayn. He had cursed her to the very depths of the Earth, and more.

She let him though because she knew she deserved it.

When Liam had finished, she had apologized and explained her situation, pleading for him to pass the phone to Zayn. Liam didn't.

He had advised her to stay away for a while and just do what she needed to do so she can get back home sooner. It could have ended on that note- if her blabber mouth didn't decide to confess some things that Zayn didn't know.

Liam had listened to her, thankfully, and in the end, he had told her, "If you really feel this way about him, but can't exactly go through with anything because you're being held back, then I suggest you keep away. Stay away until you're back because, from what you sound like right now, you'd be on the next flight here at the simple sound of his voice. And if you're back with that thing that's holding you back, nothing's ever going to happen because you did nothing to get rid of it or satisfy it."

That's what kept her from coming back. Maybe Liam didn't mean to stay away for how long she did, but she had to. It was the only thing that could possibly get rid of it- of what's holding her back.

She had kept in touch with Liam in the two and a half years she was gone, keeping each other updated about how she was doing and how Zayn was doing. It broke her heart at the start hearing that Zayn didn't exactly take it so well, but she was happy that he was fine. He wasn't worrying. She was back though, and she was going to explain everything to him.

If he ever arrived, she thought glumly as she twirled a piece of her hair around her finger nervously.

She was praying that he wasn't so mad as to stand her up. She really wanted to explain and try to save whatever was left of their possible relationship.

Felicity's phone rang, interrupting her train of thought. She pulled it out, sighing at the time – 1:45, she had been waiting there for approximately three hours – and then answering.
