London Bridge (Felicity 1*)

Song: Ass Back Home

Picture: Bracelet

Never underestimate the idea that people grow out of their childhood. Never. That's one thing Felicity Kortez can prove. No, she was not in Disneyland, or Chuck E Cheese, or a playground. She was in Great Britain. London to be exact. Her mother's home.

She was finally here!

Ever since she was a child, she has wanted to come to London. There are so many stories that she can remember being told to her from her childhood about each place there. Sure, the places may not be featured in one of those expensive tours, but they had sentimental meaning.

She can remember so many phone calls to her relatives, telling her about the wonders of London. Her whole family had come before her, and finally, she was here. The family was complete and she was home.

-Ring-Ring

Her phone rung in her pocket, crashing her first memorable moment in London. Nevertheless, she grinned cheekily as she answered her phone. "The newly British citizen, Felicity Kortez speaking, how may I help you on this wonderful day?"

Familiar laughter greeted her on the phone, followed by the chirpy voice of her older sister, Melody saying, "Aren't you just the brightest sun right now? Actually the only sun here in England."

Felicity raised her face to the sky, letting the light sprinkles of the rain gently hit her face. "For once, I can't really blame you for that joke. I am seriously happy to be here. Finally." The last word was a whisper. Sort of like a whisper of a prayer, hoping she wasn't dreaming.

"Yeah, you are! So you better get here soon! People are waiting," Melody laughed out jovially. Felicity heard a hushed voice in the background but couldn't make out what they said. "Whatever. Just get home!"

"I'm coming, I'm coming. Calm your condoms down." She heard Melody about to interrupt and quickly added," Linda's been telling me of your nightly adventures, hon."

She hung up before Melody could answer and looked towards the Big Ben. "One picture." She took out her camera, unaware of the five boys in the background passing. And just as before, as she checked the photo she took, she didn't even see that the same five boys were smiling right into the camera. Of course, it was all by coincidence- a coincidence that she didn't even notice.

Felicity hailed down a cab, quickly turning to the left of the front seat, to find no one there. "Ahem," someone cleared their throat to her right.

"Oh, I forgot the driver's seat in London is on the right," she smiled sheepishly. "Um, can you take me here." She handed him the piece of paper that held the address that her sister had given her.

The driver started the car and drove, giving her a smile. "You aren't from here aren't you, miss," he asked in curiosity.

"Oh, I have British blood in me but I don't have an accent cause I've lived in the US for most of my life," she explained to him.

"Ah. No wonder. Well, welcome to London," he gave her a kind smile, gently taking the money from her hand. Before he drove away though, he told her one last thing. "I have one tip to give you little miss. Always believe in coincidences. They're good luck to those who live here, this neighborhood especially."

It was random, but nevertheless, she gave him a thank you smile before he drove off. "That was... Different," she muttered to herself before turning to the two story, pale green house in front of her. It was quiet. As quiet as that day when she came from vocal lessons on her birthday.
