Luna glanced at the three scratches on her arm. The blood was dry now but she needed to clean it before it got infected. Nick was walking behind her the whole time wondering why she would hurt herself. When they finally reached the nurses office Luna turned towards Nick.
"You can go now." Nick heard the annoyance on her voice. He nodded and handed over her bag and headed back to his class. Luna stayed there and watched him go. She walked into the nurses office and sat down in one of the waiting chairs. She decided to do the rest of her work while she waited.
A couple of minutes later a nurse came over to her. "Hi what's wrong? Not feeling well? Do you want to lay down? Or you can go home and go to th-" Lina cut her off. "No, I just need to get this cleaned." She showed the nurse the scratches. "After I clean these I'm going to send you home..." Luna stared at her confused. "What? Why?" The nurse sighed and shook her head. "You look stressed and that," she pointed to Luna's arm where the scratches were, "is a sign that you truly are, so I want you to go home do something fun or rest. "
Luna listened to the nurse as she attended to the scratches. "Now you can wait here and I'll call your parents." Luna winced and the word parents but nodded and continued to finish the rest of her work. A couple of minutes later the phone rang and the nurse picked it up. "Hello? Wait, what?!" Luna looked up to see the nurses face in anger. "Bring him here! Now!"
Minutes later a boy walks in. "Nick?" Luna looked at him and saw a bruise on his eye and his arm looked like it was dislocated. He smiled a little. "Hey Luna. How's yo-" "NICK MICHAEL ANDERSON!!!!" Luna saw Nick winced. He laughed nervously. "Hi....mom.... How's it going....?"
