Luhan's POV
"Hi grandma." I smiled widely as I went to go hug her.
"Wow. You're all grown up now Luhan." she said with a large smile plastered on her face.
"How are you?"
"I'm well. How about you? How's school?"
"It's fine. Where's grandpa?"
"Outside playing with your little brother. Go say hi to him." she pushed me towards the backyard.
"Grandpa!" I called out once I stepped out of the patio door.
"Luhan!" the old man chuckled. "Come here and give me a hug."
I laughed and went to hug him.
"How are you old man?" I joked.
"Psh, I'm not that old thank you very much."
"So I heard you guys are going to France after this."
"Yup, for our second honeymoon."
"Honey. Why don't you and Kibum come inside now. Lunch is ready." grandmother called out.
"Coming sweetheart. Come on you two." he clapped my back and went to go pick up Kibum.
I always loved my grandparents. They were such a lovely old couple that are still so much in love with one another. They've been married for almost 46 years now and they are still in that honeymoon stage. It's cute, but sickening.
I entered the dining room where the maids already had lunch set on the table.
"So Luhan," I looked up at my grandma. "Do you have a girlfriend yet?" I suddenyl choked on my food.
"He does grandma! She came to mama's restaurant the other day!" Kibum squealed. "She's so pretty too!"
"Yah, be quiet." I hissed to my little brother.
"Is she really pretty Kibum-ah?" grandma asked and he enthusiastically nodded. "Well then you should invite her to dinner tonight then Luhan. I would love to meet the girl who's finally gotten to my little Lulu's heart."
I felt my cheeks burn up, so I just stared down at my plate and continued eating.
"Come on Luhan, ask her if she would like to come. There's no shame in trying." my grandpa said.
"Fine," I sighed and stood up. "I'll go call her right now."
Please pick up. Please pick up. I chanted as I dialed her number.
"Hello?"
"Did you just wake up?" I asked as I listened to her groggily voice.
"Yes, now who the hell is this?"
"I'm sad you don't recognized your own boyfriend's voice my little witch." I couldn't help but laugh when I heard her groan.
"What do you want Luhan-ssi? It's Saturday, meaning you shouldn't be bothering me."
"I'll let you go back to sleep after this, okay," she hummed in agreement. "Would you like to come have dinner with my family tonight? My grandparents just flew in from China last night and they want to meet you."
"What?!" I knew then I had her full undivided attention. "Why the hell do they want to meet me? What did you tell them?"
"It wasn't my fault this time I swear," I said quickly. "My grandma asked if I had a girlfriend and I was going to deny it, but then my little brother said I did and he met you at the restaurant the other day and now they want to meet you."
"God I swear I'm going to kill you one day," she sighed. "Fine, what do I wear?"
"Wait. Really? You want to come?" I was shocked. I honestly thought she would've said no.
"Well I don't want to upset your family."
"Oh my gosh! Thank you Jihyun! I love you so much!" I quickly covered my mouth.
What the hell did I just say?!?!?!
"Uhm... okay."
"I'll go pick you up at 6 tonight. Bye!" I didn't even wait for her to reply, I just hung up. I took a deep breath before heading back to the dining room.
"Well? Is she coming?" my grandma was so excited to meet her once I said yes.
