No One's Pov

"So how does it taste?" Luhan asked after Jihyun took a few bites of his mothers dukboki.

"It's really good. Is it her own recipe?"

"Yup."

The door bell chimed and an elderly man wearing a suit walked in with a boy around the age of five holding his hand.

"Daddy!" Jia came out of the kitchen and hugged her father and her mother followed. They all looked so happy.

"Is that your father?" she asked softly.

Luhan turned to see them laughing and he softly smiled as he faced Jihyun again. "Yeah."

She had a far off look as she looked at them. "It must be great to have a loving family, huh?"

He looked at her questioningly, "what do you mean?"

"Your family. They're so nice and welcoming. Just looking at them you can tell how close you all are. It must be amazing to come home to that."

He turned back around to see his little brother running towards him. He smiled instantly and brought him to his lap.

"Gege. What's that?" he pointed at Jihyun.

"It's who's that. This is Jihyun. Say hi."

As Jihyun smiled at the little boy, he hid his face into Luhan's chest shyly.

"Luhan." his father patted his back.

"Oh, hi dad."

"Who's this lovely lady?" he asked in Chinese.

"Just a friend. She's tutoring me." he replied back. Luhan' s father just smiled kindly at Jihyun who looked at them confused.

"A-annyeonghaseyo Lee Jihyun imnida." she bowed slightly.

"Nice to meet you Jihyun-ssi." as he shook her hand. "I'm Luhan's father. My wife was just telling me about how such a lovely person you are." he said in perfect Korean.

"Oh thank you." she bowed once more.

"Do you mind if I take a seat?"

"No it's fine. Go right ahead." All of a sudden, the rest of Luhan's family was sitting with them at the table. They were all talking and laughing, telling stories of Luhan when he was a kid - most of the stories were embarrassing - which made Jihyun laugh. It was the first time in ages were she felt herself relaxed and welcomed.

She saw the way Luhan interacted with his family and smiled at the sight. She could tell that he loved his siblings dearly as well as his parents. This was a whole new side to him that she has never seen before in the four years she's known him.

It was almost ten o'clock and Luhan decided it was time to take Jihyun home.

"It was a pleasure meeting you Jihyun-ah." Mr. Lu said while shaking her hand once again.

Mrs. Lu took her into her arms and hugged her - which completely shocked her. "Take care my dear, come again any time."

"Bye unnie! Take care!" with that the two left the restaurant.

"Thank you for taking me to your mother's restaurant." Jihyun said once they were in front of her one story house. "Your family is amazing."

"They really are." he chuckled then looked at her house. There was only one car in her driveway and the lights in the house were out. "This is your place?"

"Yeah."

"It looks kinda small for a rich person, don't you think?" he glanced at her face to see her reaction.

"That's because I live alone." she said softly. "It's a small place, but it holds a lot of memory for me."

It was silent for a while and a question that itching to come out from the restaurant finally made it's way out of Luhan's mouth.

"Where's your family?"

Luhan watched as a small sad smile made its way to Jihyun's lips, "I'm an only child, my father has been overseas in the States for business for three years now and my mother....is in a better place." she confessed as Luhan just stared at her in shock.

Jihyun looked up and chuckled at Luhan's expression.

"You thought that I had everything, right? From a big house to a wonderful family?" Luhan just nodded which caused her to chuckle again, "That's what everyone thinks."

"How can you do that? I mean how can you live without anyone to comfort you or someone to talk to when you need advice?"

She just shrugged, "I don't know. I just do, but at least I have five wonderful guys in my life that are like family to me."

Luhan remembered the guys he saw back at the bowling alley a few nights back. He actually hated the idea of having her surrounding by five teenaged boys. It seemed like something bad was bound to happen to her.

"Well, thank you for the ride home Luhan."

"No problem."

"I'll see you tomorrow. Drive safe." with that she exited the car and went inside her house.

Once he knew she was safe inside, he started the engine. He scanned the neighborhood and a car parked across the street caught his eye. It was familiar, but he couldn't place where he's seen it before. It was all black with heavily tinted windows, but he knew someone was in there.

There was an urge in him to go to Jihyun's house to tell her to be careful, but he just brushed it off and drove home.
