No One's POV
Luhan woke up to the sound of banging on the door and the constantly ringing of the doorbell. He lazily got up and walked downstairs to open the door. His eyes widened to see his girlfriend standing there in a big sweater, shorts and her glasses.
“Why didn't you use your key babe?” he laughed at her silliness and went to go hug her, but only for her to push him away.
The tears swelling up in her eyes caught Luhan's attention quickly.
“What's wrong Jihyun?” worry laced into his voice.
“How dare you?!” she yelled. “How dare you do this to me?!”
“What? Baby, what are you talking about?”
She scoffed, taking him by surprise, “Kris told me everything.”
He still looked at her in confusion.
“The bet the two of you made,” she rose her voice in anger. “Was it all a joke? A game to you?” Jihyun held in her tears as she looked straight into Luhan's eyes.
He was silent as he watched the emotions in her eyes change every second.
“Well? Was it your damn pride that made you do it? To prove that you can get anyone? Fine. I admit. You win.”
“Luhan who's that?” a girl came out from his bedroom wearing his v-neck shirt, Luhan's eyes widened. Jihyun felt her heart tear into two, but her face didn't faze her blank look as she stared at Nana.
“No one. I just came to tell him that tutoring is over and done with. You can graduate now Luhan-ssi.” with that she walked away.
Luhan just stood there stunned as he watched Jihyun's retreating back, he was speechless. He honestly didn't know what to do or why Nana was there. The farther she got, the more he felt his heart crumpling.
“Close the door and let's go back to bed.” Nana wrapped her arms around his torso. He immediately unhooked her arms from around him and ran out the door after Jihyun.
He quickly caught up with her and caught her arm.
“Please listen to me.” he pleaded as he turned her around to face him.
The tears that caressed her cheeks completely tore him apart. He had hurt her, deeply. He hurt the girl he truly love.
“Please Jihyun, listen to me. Yes it was a bet. Yes it was all a game. Yes I agreed to it. Yes I knew I would get you to fall for me, but I didn't except to fall deeply in love with you. Please Jihyun. Please believe me. You know how I feel about you. I have no clue why Nana is there,”
“Really? You don't know why she's there?” she snarled. “Do you really think I'm stupid?!”
She thrust her phone at Luhan.
“Look at those damn pictures and tell em what you see!”
Luhan shook his head as he stared at the picture in front of him, “No, that's not possible. I came home alone last night.”
“Really? Those pictures speak otherwise. It's over Luhan,” she started walking away, but look quickly grabbed her wrist.
“Trust me Jihyun,” he pleaded. “I don't even remember anything happening.”
“Kris told me you drank last night.”
“Two shots of tequila and you and I both know that's not enough for me to get drunk,” he reasoned. “I did not sleep with Nana last night.”
“How can you lie to my face?!” she screamed in agony. “You want more evidence? There,” she pointed to his house. “There is that whore in your house wearing your shirt. And you said you didn't sleep with her. I'm done Luhan, I'm done.”
She started to walk away again, but Luhan he fell to his knees and hugged her legs.
“Get up Luhan.” the way she said his name was foreign to his ears.
He was always use to hearing her say his name in a loving way. Now it was like poison in her mouth. A foul taste that she wanted to get rid of. He wrapped his arms around her legs tighter as he cried silently.
“I said get up!” she hissed.
He just shook his head.
“You're pathetic.”
He just hugged even tighter as she struggled to get him off of her.
A honk was heard and the squealing of brakes.
“Get in Ji,” Luhan heard a guy's voice, a voice that was all too familiar to him.
Once Jihyun felt his arms slightly loosen, she shoved him off of her. He fell backwards and his back made contact with the cement floor, hard. He didn't care about the pain on his back from the impact. The pain in his heart was much worse as he watched the love of his life get into the car with the another man. She didn't even take one last glance at him. He noticed the necklace he gave her for Christmas by his foot, as well as her ring.
It's really over....
He sat on the floor crying his heart out for the first time since his harsh breakup with Nana three years ago. He had no recolection of ever sleeping with Nana nor getting home. He just remembered getting into Kris's car then knocking out. After hours and hours of replaying the scene of Jihyun leaving him in his head, he finally got up, accepted the fact that he did sleep with Nana, and slowly made his way home pray that no one was home.
