It's been a tough time to get over the semester exam every time. I can't get in touch with any social media during these days. I can't go to Aden's house, he will be studying. I'm so bored with studying for exams, but I still have to. For my results.

But this time, it became slightly different. Everyday, Jacky phoned me and chat with me before we go to sleep. We get to know more about each other. He came from a single parenting family. His father was addicted to drugs, alcohol, cigeratte and stuff because some of his friends who invited him to do that. And then one day, he just disappeared, no one have ever found him. At the age of 10 or something, Jacky's mother sent him to children's home instead of take care of him. She got married with another man and had a daughter now.

"Do you ever wanted to find your father?"

"No. I don't even want to. Neither he is live or dead. It doesn't bother me anymore."

"Won't you blame your mother? She just... dumped you at some kind of orphanage and marry someone else..."

"Nope, I knew she still loves me, I love her too. Plus, I can go back to my original house for a couple of days if my Aunt permitted." The aunt he said is the ruler of the children home.

"You're 18 years old, you can't leave your home yet?"

"Nope, until I'm graduated."

Conversations like that ,hold us close within these two weeks.

From strangers, then became friends.

I kinda like this guy.

After those exams.

Aden has never talked to me yet for about 3 days after those freaking exams.

I got a little upset. But luckily, Jacky is always with me just like how Aden used to.

He treats me so well, like I'm his sister.

But it still feels so awful. Because he's not Aden, there's still a difference.

One day after school.

I saw Aden was doing homework at class. And so, I went to him and sat beside him.

"H-Hey..." I get a bit nervous.

He glanced at me not even for 3 sec and continued with his homework.

I lowered my head, tears started forming in my eyes.

Jacky was wrong. He doesn't even want to look at me.

"I'm sorry." After this word came out from my mouth, I got up and wanted to walk away.

Suddenly, I felt someone grabbed my hand, stopping me from going away. I don't have to think who it was.

I turned around and saw Aden was standing, looking away from me.

"Wait." He said, his voice sound weird, though.

I faced him.

"I thought you don't want me to be your friend anymore." His voice was shaking. I can feel his hand which is holding mine was trembling.

"Sorry I really... I don't mean it I was in a bad mood and I just...have no idea why I said that, I'm sorry..." I looked at him, trying to control my tears that will be coming out any second.

"Nevermind... I never blame you." He grinned when a tear fall from his eyes.

"Yayyyyyy happy ending!" Suddenly, I heard someone clapping outside our classroom.

Aden and I looked up in unison, I saw Jacky with a big smile on his face.

"Hi." Aden said wiping the tear away from his face.

" And you will have your smile back again Jasslyn." Jacky smiled and pinched the both side of my cheeks.

I smiled happily.

Jacky always makes me happy.

I like him so much that I could think of.

Although me and Aden had become friends again, I don't need to tell Jacky what I have to do to apologise, but Jacky and I are still keeping in touch. Our friendship grew deeper and deeper only within this week so far.

"Sooo you and Jacky are still chatting around yeh?" Aden smirked and looked at me.

"Yupp." I grinned everytime I heard about him.

"Looks like you have a big crush on him~"He laughed.

"I'm not idiot!" I blushed a little and smacked his back.

"Your face is turning so redddddddddddddd."He continued teasing me.

"I'm not!" I felt heat warming my cheeks. I kicked his leg.

"Hey, I've got something to tell you. But...I don't know if I should tell." He stopped laughing FINALLY.

"You can trust me don't ya?" I said.

"Okay... but don't freak out, okay?" He sighed.

" I promise I will not yell or faint or fell my eyeballs out." I said playfully.

"Stop acting like a little girl Lyn," He laughed and patted my head, "Okay, be serious."

I stared at his face with my eyes wide opened.

"I think, Jacky likes you." He said, looking into my eyes.

I stared at him for about a minute, and then burst into laughter.

"Stop being a stupid, idiot!" I cannot stop the laughter.

"No I'm not lying. I'm a boy, I can tell easily from their every move if a boy have fall in love with girl." He said, he's not laughing at all.

I stopped laughing, looking at him.

"The way he looks at you, the way he treats you, the way he speaks to you, the way he smile at you, all these moves told me he likes you, Lyn. Believe or not, your choice." He said with a straight face.

I stayed quiet.

Will it be the truth? What if he really likes me?

Can we still be friends if I reject him?

It's not that I don't like him. I like him like I never fall this much for a boy before.

But I was forbidden to be in a relationship until I turn 18. My parents said it's too young for us teenagers.

I sighed in my heart.

"Hey, there's a way to make sure that my theory is true. Wanna know?" He snapped his fingers out of sudden.

"What?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Wait till it's your birthday."

He smiled confidently.

"This will really work. What a genius I am!" He exclaimed himself like a five years old kid get 100 marks in an exam.

I slapped myself on the forehead.

Can I act like I didn't even know this stupid boy here?
