16. [Completed]

#22 The Truth

[Aden]

She's crying for some bad memories she got back in her dreams.

She said Jacky hurt her.

Her tears keep falling down like the rain falling from the sky.

Well, I'll have to take her to meet Jacky tomorrow again.

I have to make this clear, I don't want her tears fall again for old memories.

What about I just take him to her house? Maybe it will be better.

Someday, I'm gonna make her mine. Just make her be my girlfriend.

She's asleep in my arms right now.

I hope this is my future every day.

With a smile on my face, I closed my eyes and had a rest.

I woke up with her still sleeping, but not in my arms.

I sat up and shake her up.

"Hey."

I don't know if she's awake because she didn't move.

"Wake up sleepy head, I'll get you some dinner... Well maybe supper at this time."

She sat up, asked me with a sleepy tone, "What's the time?"

She's so cute.

I smiled and stared at her, "About 9pm."

"I want Mcdonald's." She grinned.

I took her there with my bicycle.

While she was eating, I told her about the plan tomorrow.

"Well, Jacky will come to your house, are you okay with this?"

She stared at me, hesitating.

Then she nodded, but I know she's actually struggling with her thoughts.

She ate silently.

"Cheer up! You will be okay." I smiled and stroked her hair.

Then she gave me a smile.

I got back home and called Jacky, just to inform him to come over at tomorrow.

"You still remember where her house is aren't you?" I just wanted to make sure.

"Yup. But why do you want me to meet her? Did something happen?"

"Nope. I think it's time to tell her everything you know. She started to remember the days when the relationship is near end. She remembered something very sad and she's been crying at the afternoon. Well, that's why I cancelled the meeting with you."

"Okay..."

"See you tomorrow."

"Bye."

I hope Jasslyn sleep well.

It was about 8 in the morning when I woke up.

Then I remembered Jacky will go to Jasslyn's home later at 10 a.m.

I took a shower and changed into a sky blue t-shirt with white pants.

I had my breakfast and headed to Jasslyn's house

She's still sleeping.

"Jacky is coming later..."I leaned in and whispered in her ears.

She shot up and ran into the bathroom.

I laughed so hard, her reaction is priceless!

"What's the time now?" She asked, still in the bathroom.

"About 9:15."

She pushed me out of her room, "I want to change my clothes, dude."

I chuckled and stepped out of her room as the door closed.

A little while later, the door opened.

She's wearing a white shirt with jeans shorts.

I walked in and sat on her bed.

She is putting her hair into a neat ponytail.

"Wow, you're really dressed." I said.

"Of course, Jacky is coming later, how could I wear my pyjamas?"

"Okay. She's dressed for him." I mumbled jealously.

She didn't hear what I said, of course. And I don't want her to hear that too.

She turned around and face me.

"How do I look?" She asked.

"Not bad." I said bitterly.

Actually, she looks gorgeous in every way. But I don't have the courage to tell her.

Then a smile beam on her face.

I smiled at her too.

Someone rings the doorbell, Jasslyn and I rushed to the door and opened the door for Jacky.

Jacky walked in and bid us hello.

We walked to Jasslyn's room.

"So, Aden told me that you remembered something bad." He sat on the floor, we did the same. We formed a circle.

She hesitated, nodded.

"What do you remember?" He asked.

She bit her lips, I know she don't want her tears to fall in front of him for this thing.

"She said she remembered there's one day, you promised that you will have lunch with her, but instead of with her, when she went to your class, she saw you going to the canteen with another girl."

"How are you going to explain this?" Jasslyn bit her lip again.

"That girl...is a friend of mine. But we are really just friends. That day, my teacher called us to meet him. So we went to the teacher's office together, we're not going for lunch. The teacher's office is just one floor lower than my classroom, the staircase can go there too, not only canteen."

Jasslyn stared at him blankly.

"What happened to you guys after that day?" I asked.

It's like I'm listening to a story.

Jasslyn remain silence but lowered her head.

Jacky scratched his neck.

They make me more curious about what happened next.

Cliff hanger! Well, just to say the next two chapter probably will be the ending of this story.
