#5 Birthday

I was looking out at the window and worried about my birthday.

Aden is right, maybe I can know Jacky's feeling to me through my birthday. As my birthday is getting closer, I get more tensed, you know. 

Just imagine, when your crush confessed to you on your birthday, how would you react. I really don't know what to do if he really confessed to me, I'm forbidden to be in love with someone else. But it's so hard, to held my feelings to him till I'm 18. And at that time, Jacky will be 20 years old maybe he'll leave this country and study somewhere else so we'll be apart. I don't want to miss him like hell.

"Ughhhh stupid Aden..." I burried my face into my hands and sighed. 

"Hey!"My another good friend of me, Helen yelled in my face.

"Are you even noticing me sitting in front you and watching you stare at the sky for heavenly sake what are you doing Jasslyn!" Helen said grumpily, which was really cute.

I chuckled and pinched her chubby face,"Of course I do, cutie little idiot!"

"Hey that doesn't sounds nice dude..."She patted on my hand, wanted me to let go of her face.

"You sure is a cutie Helen."I chuckled.

"Forget about it,duh. What happened to you and Aden?" She asked.

"Remember that Jacky guy I told you before? Aden said he think Jacky likes me..."I sighed.

"Ohhhhhhhh... I thought you should be happy that your crush likes you too..."She laughed.

"S-Shut up,"I blushed a little,"And then Aden said, if I want to if his instinct is true, I'll find out at my birthday. I really wish that my birthday won't come..." I lied my head down at the desk and sighed again.

"If he confessed to you, just accept or reject him, what is it so hard?" She played with my ponytail.

"I really like him... but I can't be his girlfriend now... I'm still 16 years old..."I frowned.

"Then...just reject him."She said.

"But I don't want to..."I looked at her, helpless.

"C'mon, there's nothing you can do to your parents' rules!" She patted my head.

I sighed.

And then the bell rang. 

Time to continue class.

A day before my 16th birthday.

"Ready for your birthday surprise?" Aden chuckled as he swings a little on the swing.

"Oh damn it, I almost forgot." I slapped my forehead.

I'm sitting on a swing but I'm just sitting there, not moving.

"Come on, just accept him, why do you find it so hard? All you have to do is nod your head and cry a little and say yes, that's all. I really don't understand you." He looked at me, I saw confused in his eyes.

"You know my house rules right?" I glared at him and sighed.

"Yeah I know, but you two can get together, secretly. Right?" He said.

"Do you think it'll work?"I looked at the ground.

" There's nothing you need to worry! Except me and Helen-- I know you won't hide secrets from her, there's no one would know you two's relationship! You can trust me and Helen right?" He said pushing my swing.

"Maybe you're right." I looked up at him and smiled. He always have smart ideas.

He patted my head and smiled, showing his dimples.

And finally, the day had came.

It's a Sunday, I remember.

It was 10 o'clock in the morning and I just woke up.

Usually, my parents won't celebrate my birthday every year. They only give me presents, so there are no birthday cakes or other stuffs.

But I still have birthday cakes though. I guess you already think that it is Aden.

Yes, it's him. He always buy me a small cake--actually its a slice of cake, sometimes a muffin and give me a present. And I'm so grateful about that, what a friend  I had. I'm still curios about why does he know everything I wished for my birthday. I don't know how'd he do that but nevermind, it doesn't really matters.

So far, I received an iPad Air from my parents. Wow, I'm so excited and shocked. They never give me electric stuffs like this before!

Suddenly, my phone rang. 

It's a message from Aden.

Aden: I'll be coming to your house tonight about 8 pm, is it fine?

Jasslyn: Yeah it'll be fine. My parents are going out tonight and they might be coming back very late.

Aden: Okay... See you tonight!

Aden: Oh, just a reminder. You better be dressed but not too formal like um... Just make yourself tidy.

Jasslyn: Why??

Aden: Just do what I've told you and that's all you need to know!

Jasslyn: Hey idiot explain to me 

Jasslyn: Or else I'm not gonna do what you said

Jasslyn: HEY IDIOT IT'S MY BIRTHDAY DON'T HIDE SOMETHING FROM ME

Jasslyn: Fine!

I didn't received any reply after that. Well, it must be some kind of surprise he's going to give me.

I went into the bathroom and took a nice shower. I put on my mintgreen T-shirt and a pink shorts.

I tidied up my room as it was a little messy though.

After finishing these works its about 5pm so I ride on my bicycle and went to 7-11. Every year, Aden will celebrate my birthday at my room, and I'll buy some snacks and drinks, and this year we're doing the same thing too.

I bought two botles of Coke and some other snacks. When I got home, it was about 6pm.

My parents already left as they already made spaghetti for my dinner. I ate some and watch TV in the living room while waiting for Aden.

8 pm sharp, the doorbell rang.

 I got up to open the door.

"Well, you seemed to be more punctual after all these years..."

I lifted my head up and found out something's not right.

Finally chap 5 guys! Sorry for the late update, I'm busy these days. As I have started school for about a month, thimgs are getting in place so I will be busy. Maybe I can't finish a chapter everyday, it might take a few days. So, please don't mind, okay? x
