[Jasslyn]
"What happened to you guys after that day?" Aden asked us.
Well, good one.
Good enough to let Jacky hesitate.
But I'm curious, too.
Jacky is looking at me in the eyes.
"We fought. It's a big one." He is still staring at me.
I spot sorrow in his eyes.
"Is it that day she went to my house at late night and slept over?" Aden glanced at me.
Jacky nodded.
Suddenly, my head hurts so much.
"Hey, are you okay?" I heard Aden's worried voice as he pressed my head on his lap.
But that didn't last long.
After a few minutes, I remembered everything that I used to know.
"I remembered..." I sat up.
* * *
It was that day Jacky broke his promise, after school.
Aden walked me home and I walked quietly.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
I sniffed and nodded.
"I know you're not." He said, staring at the road blankly.
"No I am." I protested.
"No matter what, remember that I'm always here for you, okay?" He gave me a warm smile and patted my head.
I nodded, tried to give him a nice smile.
When I reached home, Aden bid me goodbye and waved at me while walking back to his home.
"You can come to me anytime." He said.
I smiled and opened the door.
It's only an empty house with an empty heart girl.
I sat on the floor, crying my heart out.
I feel so alone.
He just broke his promise for another girl.
Maybe I'm not good enough.
If this is the reason he find another girl, I'll leave him.
That night, I hid myself in my room.
At first, I wasn't crying, I'm writing my diary.
But when I wrote about he went for lunch with a random girl, I broke down again.
I tore down that page from my diary and crumpled it, tossed it on the ground.
Mom knocked on the door and asked me to go downstairs for dinner.
I said I'm not feeling well so I won't be eating.
I heard she sighed.
I closed my eyes and tried to get to sleep.
But I can't.
I took out my phone and found his number.
My hands were trembling when I'm deciding should I phone him and ask him about this whole thing.
Then I pressed the call button.
"Hey Jass? Why didn't you wait for me this afternoon after school?" He sounded normal, like he doesn't know anything.
