We went inside and find a place to sit down. Aden then ordered the drinks, so I'm waiting there.

I took out my phone, thinking should I go to my Instagram. It's been a long time since I went on social media for the last time, which is before I had the accident.

"Thinking of what?" Aden sat down with two drinks in his hands.

"Nothing." I offed my phone and put it on the table.

He handed my drink to me.

"Who are we going to meet?" I asked again.

"You'll know later!" He said.

After a little while, his phone buzzed and he took out to have a look. Someone messaged him, maybe.

Just then, someone walked to our table and sat down.

"Hi."

I looked at the person.

"You're here, finally." Aden rolled his eyes.

"Sorry for being late, it's a little busy with my homework..." She said.

"Helen?" I looked at the girl sitting in front of me.

"Jasslyn." She smiled.

"Why are you here?" I asked in surprise. We has not seen each other since we graduated from high school.

"Aden called me here. According to his words, you've ... lost your memory?" She stare at me in worry.

"Yeah, sort of. The doctor said I just lost some parts of my memory, not all."

"She lost her memory about she and Jacky." Aden added.

"Why would your brain choose to lose that memory? I thought it's a nice memory?" She is kinda curious about that.

"I don't know either. Maybe somewhere deep inside me choose to forget that memory." I sighed.

"Did you remember anything now?"

"Yeah... I did. But it's not fully remembered yet. I get some memories into my mind every night. However it kinda just...stopped recently. But it hasn't reached till the end yet, it didn't show how do we broke up."

"You didn't told me about that before!" Aden's eyes widened and raised his volume.

"Do I have to tell you everything?" I rolled my eyes.

Helen chuckled. "So how are you doing these nights?"

"Can't sleep at all. I can't sleep at night since I started to get back memories. Every night. But I still can't sleep although there aren't any memories coming up to my mind. So weird." I faked a smile.

"Sorry to hear about that... Why don't you take some pills, maybe it would help?"

"I've tried before at the first two weeks, but it never works."

Aden's eyes widened even more.

"Maybe you should go to the doctor's and have a check up..."

"There's no need to do that. I can't sleep because I bury myself into past days that I could remember, every time I do that it took all night time."

"You have to walk out from the memories... You need rest." She puts her hand on my shoulder.

"I would love to if I can." I gave her a bitter smile.

Yeah, I tried to do that every night but I can't help. I just can't.

Aden took me back home. He followed me to my room.

It's kinda weird, because we haven't speak to each other since we went on the car.

I sat on my bed quietly, he sat beside me and sliding the screen of his phone.

I looked at the window blankly. I don't know what's going on right now, he didn't talk to me, so I don't have the courage to speak though...

I took a novel that I haven't finish reading and continued reading, since there's nothing to do.

It took me about an hour to finish that book, he still remained silent.

I turned to his side and found him lying down, sleeping sweet and sound.

What's going on?

I sighed.

Staring at the book cover, don't know what is the purpose of doing this.

Did I do something wrong?

Nope.

Then why?

Don't know.

I turned on the air-conditioner, the weather is just too hot. Hot afternoon.

I slid my lower half body into my blanket and leaned against my bed frame. Looking out to the sky again.

The sky turned dark in a sudden, it's about to rain.

Well, I shouldn't think of that, it rained immediately after I have the thought of about to rain.

It sure is a heavy pour. Raindrops falling. Somehow I love rainy days, every thing is cool and fresh after rain.

My room became cold, I wonder would Aden feel cold too.

So I pulled the other half of my blanket that is under his body and cover it on him.

"You're sleeping for so long."I looked at his face. He is sleeping without snoring, I like that because it doesn't annoy me.

I lied down and I stared at the ceiling as I hear raindrops hitting the roof of my house.

He suddenly turned his body and faced me, still sleeping quietly.

I know what you guys must be thinking.

Nope. It's not so surprising to see him sleeping next to me. We used to play together when we were young. Whenever we feel tired we just sleep next to each other, usually closer than right now.

I look at his face. Wondering why is he not talking to me.

But I spot nothing.

Somehow he has a place in my heart, I can't imagine what would happen if I lost this buddy.

Tired took over my mind, I wanted to sleep.

So I closed my eyes.

It's getting cold but it's warm because he is sleeping next to me.

His warmth covered the cold.

Nice to sleep huh.
