[Aden]

It sure is a fun night.

We sang songs and laughed at jokes.

Right now it's about 1 am and I'm still wide awake.

Well, I don't know why am I awake too.

Maybe it's because Jasslyn is sleeping peacefully next to me. The distance between us is about only 10 cm. Her face is facing me and some strands of her hair falls on her face.

I turned to face her, staring at her.

Then I reached out my hand and tucked her hair behind her ear.

Never thought of the right girl for me is always by my side. We grew up together and watched each other transform into a young adult.

Time flies. I sighed.

16 years ago, we are two 4 years old children, just met each other. Our parents became friends and we became best buddies too. She's strong at the outside, but never was strong in the inside.

She's a sensitive girl. She senses everything that will hurt her, or me.

She can laugh easily, but can cry easily too. I love her laughter, but it hurts when she's crying.

She's shy. She can't make friends with others initiatively. But she is nice to everyone, if they are nice to them, of course. And that's why, she's always betrayed by others. Whenever teacher puts some students in a group for doing a project, everyone leave all jobs to her, but that stupid girl never refuses.

"I'll do it if they can't, maybe they have their own reasons for not doing it." She always said that and give me 'No Problem' smile

She's weird, too. She can be so crazy or acting childish like a 3 years old child when she wants. She likes tomato sauce but not tomatoes, and likes mushroom soup but not mushrooms. She loves to sit at the left side of the car, if someone wants her to sit other places, she'll get mad. Weirdo.

But she's special to me. Maybe that's why I choose to protect her and treat her well from the very beginning.

Helen thinks it's the time that me and Jasslyn had is long enough to become a couple. But I don't think so. Time doesn't matter. All that matter is the bond, the trust within each other that we have built.

I love her.

No doubt about it.

I yawned, trying not to wake her.

So finally I'm getting tired.

I stared at her face, and smiled.

"Goodnight." I whispered.

Then I leaned in and placed a soft kiss on her hair.

* * *

"Wake up, piggy." I felt someone slapped my back real hard.

I shot up and groaned.

"Hey! Let me sleep!" Then I lay back into her bed again.

"It's time for breakfast!" She said.

"Can I just skip that?" I said in a lazy tone.

I'm so god damn tired right now.

"You know this is not your house right?"

I don't want to get up but I have to.

"Okay okay..."
