=Chase's P.O.V= (Edited)
I parked my car, and sighed as Patrick let out a laugh. Patrick, my older brother, decided to come back from boarding school. He'd been extremely hyper this morning, especially upon seeing Isaac's house. I got out of my car and smiled to myself discreetly like I did every time I knew I was going to see Cat. Patrick knocked on the door and moments later Isaac opened it.
"Oh my god, it's Patrick Ross!" Isaac laughed. They hugged and Isaac fist bumped me. "Cat made breakfast, it's on the dining room table." He said and we followed him inside. In the dining room, I saw Danny, Cat and Derek.
"Oh hey." Danny said. Cat looked up and when her eyes met mine, she smiled. I smiled back as Patrick said hi to everyone.
"I'm Patrick, I don't believe we've had the pleasure of meeting." Patrick told Cat.
"Nice to meet you." She said as he shook her hand.
"So the other day I was playing disney infinity with Harris, and all of a sudden this huge ice monster comes out and tries to attack my iron man, and I was all like 'nah bitch' and then I killed him." Danny told Derek.
"What an American hero." Cat said sarcastically.
"You laugh now, but just you wait." Danny said.
"You know you have to continue that sentence right? What am I waiting for?" She asked him.
"I'll have to get back to you on that." He sighed. "Sit down, enjoy the once a year breakfast Cat makes us." Danny told us.
"I made breakfast last week you dweeb." She rolled her eyes.
"Was I hungover?" Danny pondered to himself.
"Probably." She shrugged as I sat down next to her and Patrick sat down next to Danny.
"Our dad is throwing this annoying party tonight, you should all come." Patrick told them.
"Danny and I can't go, we're going arm chair shopping, and this time, it's legit." Derek said as Isaac sat down.
"You said that the last five times, and yet we still don't have an armchair." Cat pursed lips sarcastically.
"This time will be different." Danny said.
"Cat and I will totally go." Isaac nodded.
"Great." Patrick smiled.
"They don't have to go." I sighed.
"It'll be fun." Patrick shrugged. My father wasn't exactly my description of fun.
"What time should we be there?" Isaac asked as I saw Cat look down at my hand that was clenching my chair. I looked at her and let go. She looked at Isaac and carefully laced her fingers through mine.
"Six thirty should be good. It starts at five forty five but no one comes until like six fifteen." Patrick told us. "It's semi-formal."
"Fun." Isaac said and took a bite of his pancake. "These are just exquisite." He said sarcastically.
"Don't diss my pancakes." Cat scoffed.
"I love them, so eat that." Isaac laughed.
"Was that supposed to be a burn, because all I'm feeling right now is that I need a winter jacket." She said and I let out a small laugh.
"What was that supposed to mean?" He asked.
"I don't know, just that your burn was awful." She shrugged.
"I'm eating my pancakes alone." He huffed and got up. "Let's go." He said. Patrick got up to follow him upstairs, and Danny and Derek went into the kitchen. I kissed Cat's hand as Isaac called for me.
