=Chapter 17-Cat and The Snorkeling=

=Cat's P.O.V=

"Your turn Cat." Jackie laughed as I looked at the water. It was a calm November day, and even though we all knew how cold the water would be, we decided anyways to just go ahead and swim. I shook my head and she looked at May, Nick and Kayden.

"Do not push-" I started. She pushed me in and I sighed as I hit the water. The water hit my face like bliss. I opened my eyes and looked around the ocean floor through my goggles. I used the too-big-for-me flippers I was wearing and pushed myself down.

It was as if I was in a freezer. By the time I would come up I was sure my lips would be purple. I looked up and saw the sail boat Jackie pushed me off of. Nick, May and Kayden were all still up there with her.

I grabbed a seashell and put it in my small pouch. looked around and saw a shining box. I swam over which only took about three seconds and grabbed it. I swam to the surface and put my mask on my forehead.

"You're all dicks. I found something." I told them. I tossed Jackie the box and she laughed at me.

"Woah." She opened it and revealed an Amethyst necklace. "You should have it Cat."

"I'm going back down there, but I'll get it after." I sighed and put my mask back on.

I swam back down and looked around. A huge fish swam by and I smiled. I grabbed a bunch more seashells quickly and shot up from the water. I climbed onto the boat and handed my mask to Kayden.

"Have fun." I said and he laughed.

"Thanks." He said and jumped into the water. "Cannonball!" He splashed all of us and we groaned.

"God." I rolled my eyes playfully and looked at the shore. Isaac, Chase, Derek and Danny were going to go after us, they were all on the sand. I honestly didn't know what to think of me and Chase.

It was obvious that he felt that we weren't just friends too, but it was so difficult to know what he wanted. It was like I was talking to a wall. He just wasn't very verbal about how he felt. Not that I could complain, he was an extremely skilled kisser.

"So, you and Kayden?" Nick asked, breaking me out of my trance. It took me a full second to register what he had said.

"Wait, what?" I asked him, shocked.

"It's so obvious he's like totally in love with you." May answered for him and I raised my right eyebrow at her. There was no way Kayden had feelings for me, we'd been friends forever, if he liked me he would've told me by now.

"No way, Kayden and I have been friends for so long, there's no way he likes me and frankly I don't like him that way." I shook my head, Nick's question getting to me.

"So you like Chase?" She wondered and I almost said yes.

"No." I rolled my eyes. "Chase....Chase is a player, and he stole my diary. Of course I don't like him that way. He's just trying to use me, and I'm not going to let him." I shrugged.

"You totally have it bad for him." Nick laughed and I rolled my eyes again.

"I do not like him!" I argued. "I just told you I didn't, you should believe me."

"You just want us to believe you so you can hide the fact that you totally do like him, a lot." Nick said, and I sighed, expecting them to continue.

"You like him." May and Nick started saying over and over again.

"I really don't." I lied.

I walked outside with Isaac and looked at their beach. It was only November so the water wasn't as cold as I got in the winter.
