Chapter Seven

All of a sudden, a black body-clad suit appeared in front of Ladybug. It was Cat Noir!

He wore a golden bell on his chest and his black belt hung out like a cat's tail. His claw-like gloves were spinning his extended baton, which he used to block the incoming attack.

The protective green cat-like eyes were looking at Ladybug in worry before smirking,"It appears that I have arrived just in time to save you, my Lady."

The baton had hit the yo-yo upwards to avoid injuries while the bubble popped. The black-spotted red yo-yo returned to its owner but not before hitting Cat Noir's head with a clunk.

Grimacing in pain, the black ears on his head were flattened from the soft but still painful impact.

Ladybug replied bossily,"I was doing just fine but thank you for your assistance."

Instead of her heart pumping normally, it accelerated because of the way Cat Noir was looking at her. Shaking the thoughts out of her head, she refocused on the battle.

The Bubbler had a butterfly frame over his eyes which meant that Hawk Moth was contacting him.

"Get their Miraculouses! Or I will take away your powers and you will never have that party for your friend!!" Ordered Hawk Moth, furiousness lacing his tone.

The Bubbler nodded in submission before resuming his attack on the two heroes.

Fighting with they all their might, victory was soon theirs or so they thought. The attacks sabotaged then from behind, taking them completely by surprise.

Bubbler had a smile on his face, satisfied that he had managed to capture them.

Cat Noir was pissed, though. He hisses,"Fight like a real man!!!"

Ladybug was not paying attention as she tried to find a way out of the blasted bubble. She never thought that bubbles might be her enemy one day, but you can't say, the world's a weird place after all.

The black cat's taunting definitely sparked the villein's piled up anger. His last string snapped before he launched himself forward.

His leg was raised up high towards the bubble, kicking high up to the sky with the speed that you might get a heart attack with if you are afraid of heights and speed.

'That was a bad idea.' Admitted Cat Noir, Ladybug was looking down at the ground in disbelief.

Hawk Moth had specifically said to get their Miraculouses but it seemed that Bubbler forgotten all about it when he let anger take over. The Master shouted in frustration in his dark room, killing the Bubbler's eardrums.

"I told you to get their items of power!! How dumb are you?!"

Meanwhile in the air, Cat Noir was trying to break the bubble with his paws.

Ladybug saw his futile effort and remarked,"Why won't you use your Catclysm?"

He looked at her and the height the bubble had floated. She insisted,"It doesn't matter, do you really want to be stuck in this unyielding bubble forever?!!"

A cheeky smile tugged the ends of Cat Noir's mouth, implying that he wouldn't mind as long as he was with his lady.

Face-palming, Ladybug glared at him. He sighed before hastily using his Catclysm.

The power allowed him to destroy anything he wished to destroy but he had never tried on a bubble before.

It worked, releasing them to free-fall without parachutes.
