Ladybug swung herself towards her home. On top of the rooftop, she jumped into her room. Just in time to change back into Marinette, Tikki returned to her sprite form.
Her eyes shone with pride of their newly aqquired victory, Marinette was looking out the window.
'Must be thinking about Adrien, again.' Tikki mumbled before getting some food from the kitchen below. Sabine and Tom were busy serving customers on the first floor where the bakery was located.
The girl sighed before getting her tablet to do her history homework.
It has almost been a year when she first showed this superhero persona.
As a teenage girl, she faces hardship like being confident in front of people. Underneath a mask, she could be whatever she wanted to be. Strong and intelligent were what she always was but she never shown it to others. Afraid of people laughing, she covered it with a weak persona, when in reality she's much more deep-seated.
Tikki flew into the room with nice-smelling newly baked crossiants, that definitely caught Marinette's attention.
Adrien turned back when he reached his home, luckily Natalie forgot about dinner so she's in the middle of ordering the chef.
No one saw him as he slipped into the privacy of his room. Plagg returned into his annoying cat-like sprite form, whining that his energy is low.
Adrien heaved a big sigh before dragging himself towards the small kitchen in his room. He prepared Camembert Cheese for his exhausted partner.
Plagg caught a wife of his beloved before devouring it with passion. His master drank a glass of water and started ti think about his life.
A year has passed when he first met Plagg and Ladybug. His superhero persona was basically his rebel side. He had never shown this side to anyone because of his father. He didn't like his only son to be behaving like a drunkard.
But Adrien wants to let go sometimes, with Plagg he managed to do just that. No one recognised him and he could be himself again.
Both heroes are not what they seem to be when the mask comes off.
This is more like an explanation to why they have two personas.
