Victoire's PoV

Dad had arranged with a meeting after school with my Principal and Vice Principal. Our Principal was rather nice. The Vice on the other hand..

I shakily walked into the school with my parents. Avi had agreed to meet us there at 3:30. He would bring Kevin, since he was the smartest. I saw a black car pull up and Avi and Kevin ran to catch up with us. They were both wearing suits.

"Nice to meet you Ma'am. Sir." Kevin shook my parents hands as we waited for the Principal to call us in.

She eventually did. The 5 of us walked in and sat in front of her and Vice. (I couldn't bother to learn his name.)

"What have you called this meeting for exactly, Mr. Scott," Ms. Phillips (the Principal) asked.
"Victoire has been asked to go on tour with the group Pentatonix. She would be an intern and will be home-schooled but we need to make sure it would still count for credits," Dad said.
"Well, she would have to make up end of term exams so we could count the coarse, but other than that everything should work out."

Vice spoke up. "Who will be teaching her?"
"I will, sir," Kevin spoke up.

"What education do you have?"

"I graduated from Yale."

He rolled his eyes. "So, what music do you perform, Pentatonix?"
Avi spoke up. "We do A Capella."
"Are you any good?" he asked.

"Micheal," Ms. Phillips spoke sternly.

Too late.

"Do you want us to perform?" Avi asked sternly.

"Are you up for it?" he asked.

"Absolutely."
Ms. Phillips sat down at her desk and dismissed Vice. "Are you really going to perform?"
"We'd love to," Kevin spoke up.
"Well, we'll see you here Thursday at 2 then."

We walked out of the school and to the library. I had to drop off a few books before heading home.

"I'm so sorry about him," Mom said to Kevin and Avi.

"Well, the kids get a free concert thanks to him," Kevin laughed.

I dropped the book into the bin and walked back over. "What do I need to pack?"

Avi thought for a minute. "I'll ask Kirstie and text you a list." We exchanged phone numbers and went our separate ways.
