Scott's PoV
I pulled into our hotel and parked as close as I could to the door. Mitch, Kirstie, Esther, and I got out, but Avi and Kevin were stuck in the back with Victoire. She still hadn't woken up.
"I'll get her," I said.
I grabbed the small girl and picked her up bridal-style. She didn't even stir. Esther was recording me carrying Victoire into the hotel. We got in an elevator with a very confused old lady.
"Is she yours?" she asked.
"My daughter?" I asked. The lady nodded.
I started to say no, but realized it would be easier to just agree. "Yes, we adopted her." The lady smiled and Mitch was holding back a laugh.
We finally got to our floor. Kirstie let me into her room and I opened the adjoining door to Victoire's room. I put her under her covers and turned off the light. I walked back into Kirstie's room and let out a small laugh.
"I can't believe that lady thought she was our daughter," Kirstie laughed."Well, we could've said no. Then she would think we'd abducted her or something," I responded.
"I got a video of the whole thing," Esther said."Post it on PTXVlogs," Kirstie said.
"Yes! Anyways, I'm off to bed. Goodnight, girls," I said as I went into Mitch's and my room.
Victoire's PoV
I woke up in my hotel room. Weird. I didn't remember walking up her. I picked up my phone and saw a ton of Instagram and Twitter notifications. I also saw a text from Charlotte.
Look at Instagram! There's a video of you!
I pulled up Instagram and went to my notifications. I had a ton of new followers and saw that I was tagged in a video. I pulled it up and saw a short video of Scott carrying me through the hotel. The description said the full version was on the website. I would have to look at that later. I also saw that I was tagged in a photo. I opened it and saw that I was sleeping and Kevin and Avi were kissing my forehead. I screenshot it and posted it on my Instagram.Kirstie burst into my room. "It's show day!" she said cheerfully. "We're going to head out at about 1. Make sure you have your bag packed because we won't be coming back."
"Okay, thanks." She smiled and went back to her own room.
I laid out my outfit for the day. Black leggings, a blue flannel and black boots. I packed all of my other clothes in my suitcase and got a quick shower. I got dressed and started to straighten my hair. I also put on makeup and packed everything else up. Well, everything but my phone and camera.
Someone knocked on my door. I opened it to see Scott. "Ready, zebra?"
"Yeah." I thought for a second. "Puma?"Scott started laughing and had to retreat back into his room and then I heard Mitch start laughing, too. I walked into the hallway and saw Mitch and Scott come stumbling out of their rooms laughing.
"Welcome to Superfruit," Scott laughed.
"The best show on the Internet," I added.
They burst out laughing again. Once they had gained control, Mitch looked at his watch. "It's 1:05. This is the end. They're probably all dead."Kirstie and Esther emerged next. "We lost track of time," Kirstie said.
Mitch rolled his eyes. "Typical," he joked.
Kevin came out next. "Where's Avi?" Scott asked.
"Doing his hair," Kevin said."It's concert day. He's going to have his hair done," Esther said.
"Tell him that," Kevin said.Esther rolled her eyes and walked into Avi's room. She emerged minutes later with Avi following her.
"I think we're ready to go," Kirstie said.
We all walked outside and got into a car. Our luggage barely fit in the back, but we made it work. We got into the car and drove to the arena. We loaded all of our suitcases into the storage of the bus and headed into the building. Staff were walking and putting everything into place. The group was ushered into rooms so they could change. I followed my trainer, Amanda, to her studio and she gave me my camera and a staff shirt. I changed into the shirt and she took my extra one to the bus. I warmed up taking photos before Esther called me to sound check.
Everyone was still in their normal clothes, but fans with VIP passes were allowed to listen to sound check. I took pictures of them and I ran up to the top of the floor and got a picture of everyone. I stayed up there until sound check was over and called for everyone to look at me. I got a few pictures before I went back to the stage. I got one shot from floor level of the stage. It turned out surprisingly well.
I jumped onto the stage and followed everyone back to their rooms. Everyone had to change so I sat down on the stairs and tried out some new angles. I zoomed in far and was trying to get the camera to focus on the edge of the hallway. Suddenly, Scott jumped in front of me. His face was zoomed in way too far, and I managed to get a photo of it.
I put the camera around my neck and stood up. "VIP meet and greet," he said.
"Yay!" I said while following him and Mitch to the room.
The first part of Meet and Greet is signings. I stand beside the table and take pictures throughout the event. I make sure to get many pictures of each person. These would be uploaded to the website and people could save them and print them out themselves.A girl came up with a bag. She handed it to Kirstie. "It's for all of you," she said quietly. Kirstie opened it and showed it to everyone. It was a bag full of candy. "Thank you!" they all exclaimed. The last person finally got up to them. She handed them a letter.
"Can you please read it?" she asked.
"Of course," Scott said. He read through the letter and passed it around to all of Pentatonix. Once they finished reading, they all stood up and wrapped the girl in a hug. I stood on one of the chairs and captured the moment perfectly. The next segment was pictures. We walked over to the next area and saw a backdrop. It took about an hour to get everyone through pictures. After that everyone went back to the first room where they could ask questions to the group. Before too long, it was time for Pentatonix to get ready to go on stage.
I followed Esther to the stage. She showed me a door that led from backstage to the audience. "Your staff shirt will let the guards know to let you through."
"Thanks, Esther." I walked into the arena and got a few shots of the crowd cheering. I also got a few of the empty stage. Then, the show started.
The opening song was a mashup of Sing, Cracked, Na Na Na, and Lean On. I got varying shots and made sure to get a close up of the girl who got chosen for Let's Get It On. She reacted perfectly to the situation. After the song finished I went backstage again. The show was almost over and I wanted to get some shots from back there.
By the time the show ended, I was exhausted. I packed up my camera and gave it back to Amanda and followed Kirstie to the tour bus. We had already claimed and made up our beds. I had a top one. I was above Kirstie and across from Avi.
I waited for the bathroom to open up and changed into a t-shirt and shorts and brushed my teeth. I climbed into my bed and plugged my phone in to charge. Kevin crawled into bed, but not without saying, "Next stop: Norfolk, Virginia!"
