Chapter 4

Lele's POV

( later that night )

I was walking from Aunt Cassidy's house to the store. I wanted some frozen yogart. It was maybe around 8 at night. I was craving it so i needed it now. I got the yogart and the lady rung me up.

I walked down the side walk eating on it. I walked passed a dark alley and a pair of strong arms grabbed me. I screamed a little until they put their hand over my mouth.

???: We got a message for your little boyfriend SAM. Tell him we coming for that ass. He wouldnt want anything to happen to his unborn, right?

Me: Who the hell are you?

???: God bitch.

He slapped me down to the ground and ran off. At this point i felt unsafe. Maybe someone was watching me. They must be watching the whole crew. I got up holding my cheek and left.

I got to the house and called Sam. Its almost nine and i havent heard or seen him. WTF.

*phone call*

Sam: Yo ma.

me: Where are you baby. I need you

Sam: Where are you? im on my way.

me: Im at my aunt. Some guy pulled me onto an alley and said tell your boyfriend we coming for that ass. He also threaten the baby. Sam what the hell is going on?

Sam: Fuck, baby its under control. Keep Lola or somebody with you and the gun or even mace.

me: I dont feel safe. We gotta leave or do something..

Sam: nah we cant leave. But you safe with me ma. Im coming to get you. If im not around, your gonna be over at your aunt place.

me: okay baby. Be safe! And i love you now hurry over. I miss you.

Sam: I love you too ma and im outside, come on.

*end of convo*

I hung up the phone and got my things. Lala was just coming out the rest room. I kissed her and left. I would explain to her later. Now i just wanted to be wrapped in my baby's arms.

Lala's POV

Later that night Toren stopped by. We talked over things. He found out who the guys were and he said he would handle it. I just care of his safety and the guys.

I went back home with him. We just held each other the whole night. I felt better. But i still cant forget about everything that happened. Tomorrow Dede gets out the hospital and i wanna spend time with him.

I stayed four hours with him today. He was excited to see me, Lele, Lola, and Aunt Cass. I miss his bad self being around.

As i laid on Torens chest, a billion things went across my mind.

Me: Is this it?

I asked Toren as i looked into his eyes and sat up.

Toren: What?

Me: is this it.. you know, this whole life style. You selling drugs, runnin the streets, killing... Is this it? This what its like to be with a thug?

At this point Toren was getting upset. He sat up and looked me in the face.

Toren: Dont blame me now. I warned you from the jump. You knew what you was getting into when i first told you about my life.

Me: I didnt know it could have me in affect this way. And yes i knew. When i took you, i took you and the life you live. Its only because i love you.

Toren: Lala i need you too much to lose you now. What you telling me?

Me: Im not leaving. Im just saying you need to choose. Me... or the game?

Toren: What?

me: me or the gam-

Toren: no i heard you i just cant believe you hitting me with this bullshit.

Toren jumped up from the bed mad as hell. He pasted the room then stopped in front of the dresser.

Me: bullshit? This is bullshit to you? I cant believe you.

Toren: When Dede went to the hospital and you needed help paying the hospital bill i didnt hear none of this. Or the trip to New Orleans... The new car. Even this Gucci shit you walk around in. Whats wrong? Versace in style now? Gucci aint poppin?

Me: You know this materialistic shit doesnt matter. What do you think your child is gonna say?

I saw Toren's face drop. He looked back at me for an answer in curiousity.

Me: Yeah you guessed it playa... Im pregnant.

Toren: When was you gone tell me this?

Me: today!! I asked you to leave the gang alone not because of the baby and not for yourself... just because i asked. I wanted to know would you put it all down just because i asked you to.

Toren: Damn, is it one woman on this Earth thats not about games? Oneeeee woman?!?! I thought better from you.

I brushed across him and sat on the bed. I dropped a tear but wipped it off my face. My mom said never let anyone see you weak.

Toren came over and put his arm around me. I looked into his eyes and saw worry.

Toren: So your pregnant?

Me: Yeah..

Toren: Are you positive?

me: yeah..

Toren: You keeping it?

me: yes.

Toren: Better.

i laughed and playfully punched him in the chest. I cant ever stay mad at his ass for too long..

Me: Do you want me to keep it?

Toren: Of course. I knew you would carry my speed one day.

me: *smiles* I love you.. you know that right?

Toren: yeah ma, i know.

me: So im four weeks a long. Soon we can find out the sex of the baby. Maybe we can take parenting classes.

Toren: Haha, okay ma. I guess.

Me: Im serious Toren.

Toren: I wanna ask you something but promise not to take this the wrong way.

me: Okay, i promise.

Toren: Are you sure none of those guys.....ya kno, while you were rapped?

me: Yes. They.... th- they pulled out.

Toren: Okay ma. I hated to ask you about that but i really needed to know.

Toren kissed me on my forehead so sweetly. These were the type of kisses i loved. They meant a lot.

We layed down and cooled off. I fell asleep in his arms. Knowing he was safe and i was too was great. I pray that everything remains this way.

Sam's POV

Lele told me the news and i freaked. The following morning i sent around a group message to everyone. Including the girls.

*the message*

me: Yo, we need to have a family meeting at my place today. 4 sharp,be there.. This is ergent.

This nigga put his hands on my girl and threatned to hurt my baby. This fool crossed the line. We gotta put a end to this before he makes his move first. I couldnt even sleep.

This shit was roaming in my mind the whole morning "Fuck man" was all i could think of. I just watched Lele as she slept. If anyone was to hurt her, i would lose my cool. Seriously.
