Toren's POV

*a week later*

Its been one crazy week for me. I been lonly without my Lolipop. She still hasnt woke up. I go and see her everyday though. My mom going in the hospital soon. Shes been having a lot of check ups and doctors appointments. People even come to.the house.

Gunna hasnt been himself. He smokes like a train and drinks like a gold fish. He told me Lola left with Layla and he havent heard from her. That shit crazy. Lele even said she hasnt heard from her.

Dede been getting into a lot shit. Its getting worst too. Aunt Cassidy cant do nothing with that lil dude. Ima pass by pinegroove and get his mind back right though. Wanna sell weed, come home when you want, be disrespectful and act like an adult so ima treat him like one.

Anyway, i just left the hospital with Tor. Yesterday was Tor first time seeing her mommy. Tor has nightmares like Lala use to have. She scared for her mom but Lala's gonna be okay.

She sleeps with me everynight. Tor and i can be chilling, watching tv then she'll just bust out with tears. School starts in a week. I dont want Lala to miss Tor's first day of school. Even if she dont miss it, shes gonna be in bad shape but its cool. Ima take care of my baby.

The second day she was in the hospital, i put the ring back on her finger. That dude Twan be coming to see her too. I dont have a problem with it. I just dont want him kissing on her! He dont come if Tor's with me.

I called Tonya and told her whats been going on. She all the way in New York for school. When i called she didnt sound like herself though. She said shes home sick a little. Can't handle it in the big apple i guess.

Tor: daddy, will mommy take me to school on my first day?

me: yeah. We both are. Why you asked?

Tor: mommy's in the hospital still. Can Layla and Samantha come over tonight?

me: Layla's on vacation. Samantha cant come over tonight.

tor: please daddy?

me: No, Tor. I gave you my answer.

I heard her sniffing in the back seat. Soon she started crying. The crying insantly got louder. I dont see how Lala deal. Being around her 24/7 is tuff.

me: HEY! ill take you over there tomorrow but if you keep crying, you wont go.

I looked in my mirror and i saw Tor take the back of her hand and dry her tears.

tor: dady, where are we?

me: pinegroove. This is where i met your mommy, aunts and your uncle Dede. Stay in the car. Im going to talk to Dede.

I got out and walked over to Dede. He was standing around two other guys. I pulled him by his shirt to the side.

me: What the fuck you out here doing? Huh? Giving your aunt a hard time? She aint have to take your ass in!! This how you gonna repay her? By selling weed?

dede: Yep! When you were 14 you were PAID. I wanna be like you!

me: you dont wanna be like me. Selling put my love ones in danger. Even myself. Its a dead end. You setting your self up to fail!!

dede: i dont believe it.

me: A hard head make a soft ass. Thats what my pop's told me before he got killed. You wanna die in these streets like your daddy, Larry?
